Heff 2460 Share Posted December 8, 2016 On the Missions A Thesis on the Decline and Necessity of the Canonist Missions ____________________________________________________________ In the Pontificates prior to Tobias I, the Church made an effort to extend its reach past the Imperial Borders and into the lands of Urguan, Malin, and Saracen. The Brothers of Saint Daniel, briefly, held a successful congregation in the lands of Malin through conversation and merriment beneath the banner of Everard II. The lands of the Saracen, following the Khalasheen Spring, were under the control of a baptized king by the hands of Lucien III. An abbey was tucked into the mountains of Urguan and monks, during the final years of the Eighteen Years War, descended into dwarven cities to spread God’s salvation. For success, the Church must be a multi-faceted institution which not only has a strong demesne, the Empire, where it can build a base of piety and power, but extends God’s mercy and teachings outwards to efficiently be a world presence and combat the cults of Aengulism and dwarven paganism. To successfully be a strong, relevant entity, God’s church must by all means necessary spread its faith beyond the Imperial frontier. ARCHITECUS 4788 Share Posted December 8, 2016 Abbe Onfroi mistakes this tiny thesis for the fortune from his fortune cookie and swallows it!
Cracker 4570 Share Posted December 8, 2016 The thesis has to be at least three times bigger than this.
LPT 771 Share Posted December 8, 2016 A random guy reads the first line and gets triggered "Tobias I wen't to the elves personally and preached as a bishop and Pontiff during a time when Elves would only let certain humans in" How did this man even know that? Why? Who knows, maybe the rightful Saint High Pontiff Tobias I told him? ;)
