What’s the rule you agree with the most?: No hostile or toxic behavior. This was a serious problem I’d seen elsewhere on other servers.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I was scouring minecraftservers.org for suitable roleplaying servers. Came across this one and logged in. I liked what you got. Good job.

Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): Yes, and I watched a couple of groups roleplay for a little bit, which led to me wanting to join.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is storytelling through multiple people taking the role of fictional characters, in the setting of a fictional universe. Players interact through their characters, which generally have their own unique flaws and strengths, to progress their story.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of using information in-character that the character should not feasibly know. A minor example of this would be using a character’s name IC by learning it through OOC interactions.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is when a player forces their actions on another person’s character, or when a character performs an action that they realistically would not be able to do.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Daroch Outram

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Human

Character’s age: 26

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): Daroch Outram hails from a family of nomads, born at the base of a mountain encampment in the northern reaches of Tahn, several miles from Kal’Nikaer. He was the only child in a group of twelve travellers, all of whom thought that bringing the child along would be unnecessary dead weight. All, of course, but his parents, whom were willing to prove that their son would be able to contribute to their party and fend for himself. His father taught him to hunt and to use a sword, while his mother taught him most of his survivalist skills, as well as how to read and wield a bow. He began developing talents in these aspects after a while, and after his parents decided to separate from the group due to some disagreements, he came along with them.

 

 

After some time, his parents decided to build a house within the mountains. Once he had helped his parents settle, his parents thought it would be best for Daroch to visit the Orenian capital of Johannesburg, and to be free to explore the world. For another year, they taught him to read and write properly, to fit into human society more easily. After that, he began his expedition to the capital, to begin his own story.

 

 

Personality Traits: Daroch is most comfortable when he is alone. Despite this, he does enjoy the company of others, and his easygoing attitude makes him easy to get along with for those with a sense of humor. He tends to not sit still for long. If he grows bored with nothing to do, he will do anything from simply fidgeting a bit to leaving the room altogether, in search of whatever else there is to do.

Ambitions: Daroch loves to explore unfamiliar territory. He hopes to discover all of the wonders the Isles of Axios have to offer, even (especially) the more dangerous locations, and those inhabited by the orcish folk.

Strengths/Talents: Daroch is dexterous, and skilled in wielding both shortswords and bows. He is agile both in and out of combat, and often uses this to his advantage. He is more than capable of surviving in harsh conditions on his own, and has a good sense of direction.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Daroch has a short attention span, and is rather forgetful. He frequently forgets things such as names and instructions, and auditory information is generally not well retained by him. He is somewhat feeble; wearing armor is cumbersome, and he looks admittedly quite pathetic when attempting to swing a battleaxe.

Appearance: Daroch stands 5’11” (180 cm) tall, and weighs 122 lbs (55.33 kg). He has jet-black hair and deep blue eyes, and his skin is moderately pale. His face is youthful, but often times a bit dirty. He almost never wears armor for any reason.
