Always strong, brave and sturdy. He was what a King was expected to be. We know that he did not die without having left a legacy:

Long will he go down as the King who stood against the Empire's iron fist.

Generations of Dwarves will know him as the harbinger of the Free Era.

Our King accomplished many things before he fell. Not only did he bed the Emperor’s wife but he engaged in robust battle against seven Legionnaires with one arm tied behind his back shortly after. It is known.

Do not fret. Not only did he raid the emaciated Emperor’s personal pantry, he ensured the army would not have enough provisions for the coming fury. It is known.

And the Emperor swung…and he swung…and he swung but behold that not even the repressed father issues could empower the child Emperor’s swings enough to dent our mighty northern King. It took an elderly man to rescue the Emperor from his display of weakness. It is known.

 

He laid the foundation on which the alliance stands now. Let it be known that his establishment will not be pulled out from under the Kingdom that he died for.

 

The foundation of resistance to an oppressive regime does not live in any singular individual. The foundation of resistance is a flame that burns deep in the hearts of every man, woman and child. The will to be free, the will to live and the will to self-govern was not introduced by our King.

 

Long will he go down as the King who wounded the Empire.
