From the North, a red comet streams across the sky in a cascade of red and black hues. As time goes by, it nears closer; it appears destined to land somewhere in the North, though it is not clear where.

Details; What is this?: Participants in this event can go on to explore a series of dungeons that have been built for lore, loot, and custom items. Part 2 comes out immediately following part 1.

 

If you want more details on where it will fall, feel free to roleplay on this forum for that information via sending out scouts, magic-based devices, astronomy, etc. Haense and Urguan will be told where it will land before the event.

Mukar sets of into the North in hopes of spotting the red comet land, fearing that it is a corrupted star falling and sent by Absyyl.

A brave troupe of beings cloister around a peculiar elf as they make yet another trip across the island of Tahn. One night the comet's red glow captures the elven lad's attention as if  surrogate for the night's moonlit sky. He gives out a single command to a small, spritely being "Orog. Follow it." The tufts of fur on the celestial creatures wings spring up as it takes flight, a precious stone carried in its arms as it scouts towards the direction of the comet.

Ian quickly steps outside the forge as the sky around him turns to a crimson red. "Falling star eh? Believe I'll pass on that. Fancy not getting robbed or worse by bandits taking this as a golden opportunity to stalk the roads."

Reports from fishermen begin to fill cities, stating notice of the comet off the coast of north of Haense.
