A letter would arrive to Jac de Felson, delivered by a Raven. The letter itself would be rather plain, a simple red wax seal upon it with no other signification to whom the sender was. The writing upon it would be fancy swirls and rather delicate hand writing

“Jacque de Felsen,

I write this without using my name, or my House’s name in hopes that this will not be found. I understand that if my family were to find this- I would perhaps be hanged or murdered in the streets of a place I once called home.I send this as a plea. Not all people fighting his war have a choice. No one has a choice anymore. Women have been sent away, and we wait every day for news that our husbands or sons have been slaughtered. A plea to not murder those whom have battled, but those who have assisted to the very last battle. I know soon nobles will step back and say they wish not to be apart. We grow tired of each day having to fight and to struggle through the attacks unto our home. You do not know me, but look to see if it was the reverse roll. Would You do the same thing?

With Regards..”

Jacque would fold up the letter glancing forth into the snowy plains that were simply known as Haense with determination burning bright in his eyes.

“What have we become. . . I must find Karlsburg, I have to set this straight. . .”

Politely packing it away, the determined man with nothing but the warm clothes covering his pale skin, pack slung around his back and sword dangling at his side, would begin his journey forth into the white forever-winter wonderland.

A letter would be dispatched to the snow elves, dwarves, Courlandic military officials and Courlandic nobles bearing the de Felsen sigil as well the Courland military emblem.

“It is with great sadness that we inform you that our Marshal, Jacque of House Felsen has as of recent gone missing within Hansetic territories after a recent blizzard. Multiple search parties sent in search of the Marshal or his body have vigilantly searched but to no avail. He is to be presumed dead.

Signed, J. H Ted, C Sergeant.”

"Rest lightly," Loic would say, shaking his head at the letter he'd just received.

"Another hero lies dead, the man who brought the strongest empire to it's knees, the man who was always here when Courland needed him. If his body is ever to be found, assuming he is dead, he deserves the greatest tomb. However if he is still alive, I pray for him and may GOD keep him well." Romanos would say while a few tears would come out of his eyes, knowing he won't see the faces of his friends once more.
