John Brawm, 1610 circa

John quietly sat in the corner a tavern one night smoking the last of the Brawm cactus green that he had smuggled out of Houndsden as he painfully remembered the days he served Oren with his brother during the 18 year war. Then later watching his nephews and sons grow up then finally the day Houndsden and his nephews fell. Quietly he wished he could join his family and fall in battle as his nephews had, his role in the Brawm history was over. He could no longer protect his family as there was no one to protect, and he could not avenge his son as he was getting too old to hold his own sword.

Then suddenly a loud scream was heard from outside the tavern and he knew his moment to join his family had come. He quietly stood up putting on his cloak and walked out where he was confronted by a group of bandits.

“Old man empteh your pockets I don’t want this to get ugleh.” the first bandit yelled a sword in his hand.

Slowly John drew his sword from his side walking up to who appeared to be the group's leader. The criminal walked up to John smirking as he swung his sword towards the old man's head. John quickly held up his hand the sword cutting deep into his hand as a look of pain washed over John’s face. Using the opportunity John thrusted his sword into the man’s stomach. Then shortly after another bandit swung his sword into his exposed side quickly sending John to the ground along with the other man.

John Brawm stared into his killer’s eyes with a sigh of relief, finally reuniting with his family.
