What’s your Minecraft account name?: wanderous

What timezone are you in?: Central (GMT -5)

How old are you?: 22

Are you aware the content and interactions on this server may not be appropriate for children under the age of 13? (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: "Running from roleplay using MC mechanics is not allowed unless PVP combat has been chosen as a form of combat to be used, and it is done following a proper countdown." I cannot even say how many times I have had an issue with players who run off before you can emote or initiate PVP. It is very annoying and just makes others feel like they were robbed of PVP or RP.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: Edited: I read you have to apply/learn magic in RP, so no no other questions.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I have a friend kender123 who has been highly recommending the religious/magic RP of the server, which is a subject I'd like more experience with in roleplay.

Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable):

Have you logged into the server yet?: I did log in for a few seconds, but I believe I timed out without seeing any chat information.

Definitions

What is roleplaying?: Role-playing in general is a person acting as a character like in a story. However, not all stories are your own. Role-playing in Minecraft is highly dependent on the interaction of others through descriptive writing that would be period-accurate to the setting. The purpose all in all is to simply craft with other players a changing story.

What is metagaming?: Meta-gaming is simply using information your character would not have access to. Unless someone says to you for example, "Have you heard of the lich attack upon the neighboring settlement?" you would not know of any attacks as a character, and therefore cannot act on it.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Essentially emoting without giving others reaction time. For example, you cannot just knock someone unconscious. An attempt would have to be made and the defender given a chance to react properly.

In-Character Information

Character’s name: Eris Storne

Character’s sex: Female

Character’s race: Highlander (Human)

Character’s age: 20

Biography : Eris was born to Maria Lister and Abhrem Storne in a spring evening in 1592 in a valley of Tahn. The small Highlander camp had just a night ago suffered a bandit attack, causing the loss of the camp's handmaiden. Labor was tough on Maria, whose constitution would later fail her as a result of the birth. Eris's father would forever curse Iblees into his later days, for taking such a beloved woman too soon. Unbeknownst to her, this planted a seed of hatred within Eris for the demonic and unholy forces of the world.

Despite her camp's insistence that the girl take on her mother's craft, Eris found herself training in her father's, her gentle hands becoming calloused and red from working wood. She was never clever with it like her father, but she was certainly diligent. She did sew hides when the men of the camp were looking, but did not seem to possess the same care as her mother. The fair girl seemed to become slowly more embittered over the years.

This bitterness came to culminate when Eris turned eleven. The valley was overrun in the Battle of Elba, resulting in the burning of her campsite and the capturing of her father by the Courland forces. One of her father's friends took the remaining members of the camp and they began moving into Heartlander territory. Eris thought of him fondly like an uncle, but there was another strangeness to him, a certain feeling of safety that she felt in those dark traveling nights. Unbeknownst to her, Eris's hatred for the unholy allowed her to become sensitive to the white light her father's friend sometimes carried. Eris never knew what it was, and when she asked, he simply told her it was the guiding light of Tahariae. These words would prove to guide her into her camp's transition into Courland lands. With the surrender of the Kingdom of Hanseti a year later, and the subsequent loss of her remaining camp, Eris was taken under the cleric's wing and given her first bow.

Eris traveled with her adoptive uncle for a few years, growing her skills in woodworking and hunting. Despite her insistence she could not learn much of Tahariae, and would trade her crafts for any information on his light within the Heartlander cities. She is now grown into a hardy, determined woman seeking guidance and understanding.

Personality Traits: Eris has a habit of working with her hands, often seeming fidgety unless she has something to work on. She spends most free time woodworking. Eris enjoys the company of simple folk and hunters, and is at ease within nature. Larger cities seem intimidating to her.

Ambitions: Understand the holy and unholy beings of Axios, if possible assist a holy order.

Strengths/Talents: Hunting and Woodworking, Patience, Ranged Combat, Camping

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Diplomacy, Low alcohol tolerance, Courting/Romance, Melee Combat, Seasickness

Appearance: A fair woman with dark hair, amber-hazel eyes and medium height, Eris stands at 5'6" weighing at a mere 125lbs. She commonly wears a long shirt and vest and simple leather gloves and boots most times. She carries a little satchel on her side, just enough for coin and simple tools. Sometimes she carries small metal trinkets or scrap out of habit.

Skin: I can make adjustments to the hair easily, I just prefer not working with shades of black/white when I edit skins as it hurts my eyes.
