What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is where you play your character; not necessarily yourself. You play as them, their own unique personalities, wants, needs, friends, everything.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is where you act on information your character wouldn't know. Such as knowing the person who killed you last, or going to help a friend half the continent away with your character having no way to know that.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming/emoting/godmodding is where you have your character do something that they cannot do, or performing an action with no way to defend from it, such as saying "Wyland shoots an arrow into their eye, killing them instantly."

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): Wyland was born and raised on the outer edges of Linandria, a beautiful city built within the trees. His father was a druid, his mother a huntress, who both still live within the city. Wyland learned how to hunt with his mother, perfering to go out into the woods, feeling comfortable away from the hustle and bustle of the city. He grew to be confident in his abilities with a bow, and ability to hide in the shadows of the great trees. 
However, he wasn't to stay in those forests. After the fall of the Holy Orenian Empire, he told his parents that he was leaving, wanting to explore this great, yet dangerous, world. He's travelled from the Dominion of Malin, all the way accross the continent to the Kingdom of the Westerlands. He tends to keep to himself mostly, not staying in any area for too long, wanting to go out and see the world. Currently, he's made his way to the Cloud Temple, wanting to cross the sea and see the other continents that he's only ever heard of, stopping to rest on the island which links all three continents together.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Like most of the other Wood Elves, he enjoys the forests, spending time there when he can. Unlike the others, he tends to stay to himself, not knowing who he can really trust while he's away from Linandria. When he's nervous he tries to find a way to exit the situation, when he's happy he's very relaxed, and doesn't pay attention very much to his surroundings while he's comfortable. He passes time whittling and crafting arrows, sometimes more decoratively than functional. He enjoys fruity drinks, the color green, and discovering new things. He dislikes High Elves (His parents were at Vailor), spiders, strong alchohol, sailing, open areas.

 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) He aspires to be a master archer, and a great explorer, though he has a very long way to go.

 

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Wyland's strengths are in the way he can blend in with his surroundings, specifically the forests around Linandria. While he's out exploring, and can't get to a tavern or a town in time, he can always manage to find a good place to set up a small camp away from the road, not having to worry about bandits or thieves in that regard. Almost going hand-in-hand with his stealthy nature, he's practiced and honed his skills as an archer from a young age, taught by his mother.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Because of his background dealing with few people, spending most of his time out in the forests and away from civilized land, he hasn't had to deal with money very often; and hasn't had to talk to many people often. Because of this, he's bad at talking to others - he mostly stays silent unless he has to, and he doesn't know how to really manage his money, spending it on impulse, or on just what his needs are for that day.

 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Wyland is about 5"5', with light brown hair that he keeps well trimmed, but other than that doesn't take too much care of it, leaving it ruffled under his helm. His eyes are a deep, forest green, giving a contrast to his lightly tanned skin. You'll rarely find him outside of some kind of armor, keeping himself covered up as much as he can, even keeping his mask and hood up when possible. The only times he takes them off is within towns and cities to avoid being labelled as a thief or bandit. His clothing tend to be darker of color if not in his camouflage, which he tends to use if he knows he's going into the forests. His face is smooth, free of any facial hair, either it does not grow for him, or he shaves it off very closely. Wyland's build is lithe, little fat on his body, but not bulky in terms of muscle. You wont find him winning any arm wrestling matches, or fighting in close combat if he can help it; however he can outpace any average person while running or maintaining a steady pace. As for scars, you'll be hard pressed to see any of them as the only one his has runs along the back of his leg in a straight, but jagged, line.

Edit: Changed a few of his strength's /weaknesses, tried to keep it to a couple things, and expanded upon those. Added more flavor to his appearance, explained a few things more clearly.
