PACT OF THE EQUILIBRIUM

Issued and Confirmed by His Imperial Majesty, Peter II Sigismund, and His Royal Majesty, the Grand King Gror Ireheart, 10th of the Grand Harvest, 1621.

The Holy Orenian Empire and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan have since come together, in time of tumult, warfare, and treachery; to amend the wrongdoings between their respective nations, to bridge the gap between Man and Dwarf, do they agree to the following terms. In the event of any of the preceding stipulations being broken, the pact is then forth null and void, and once every sixteen years will the Holy Orenian Empire and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan come together in their efforts to re-establish the Pact of Equilibrium.

 

The terms do go as followed, which must be upheld, and respected with the utmost priority to their respective sovereign nations:

 

I. The Holy Orenian Empire and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan will combine their efforts to quell a rebellion to their respective sovereign state; wherein they will be permitted temporary military access through one another’s land to engage the domestic, rebellious threat.

II. Once a rebellion has been quelled by the combined efforts of the Equilibrium Pact, the land within the respective sovereign border will henceforth return to its rightful claimant; the sovereign leader of the respective state.

III. In times of political turmoil, during rebellious warfare, will either sovereign state protect the other to ensure the rightful line of succession passes; the Council of the Grand Kingdom does elect its sovereign leader, and the right of succession through the Imperial Majesty.

 

As aforementioned, should either party break either term then the pact is then forth null and void; favouring disloyalty and dishonour, invoking shame upon their sovereign state. Come the passing of sixteen years, will both parties convene to reinstate the Pact of Equilibrium.
