What is Roleplaying?: To assume the role of a fictional character. While roleplaying one must act, think and behave like the character would.

 

What is Metagaming?: Making use of information that your character doesn’t have to affect roleplay. Basically cheating with knowledge..

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: To emote in such a way that whoever you are roleplaying with doesn’t have a fair chance at responding or reacting. Forcing an action on somebody could be powergaming too. Also it can mean to perform something that the character should not be able to.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

 

Rania was born during the time of Vailor in the city of Ker’Nor where the dark elves resided. Her parents were simple citizens, carrying out their daily lives normally. So she was raised and lived her life as a regular dark elf. As time passed the home of the dark elves became stagnant. Later on the first signs of decay surfaced. The population slowly decreased as more elves left the city. The ruling class became complacent and forsook their duties. And in the midst of it all a tribe of dark elves called the Warhawks rose in influence from within, with hostile intentions towards Ker’Nor. There was a bloody uprising that marked the point of no return for the dark elven people. Very few stayed in the city, some sided with the Warhawks. Rania’s were found dead in the aftermath, she had lost much.

 

By the time the descendants arrived to Axios, Rania was already old enough to be considered an adult. She decided to leave her people behind, she had nothing left there, specially after what little of Ker’Nor remained had decided to live under the shadow of their wood elven brothers. They were doomed to live petty lives, unnoticed. She also could not go with the Warhawks, she could not forgive the death of her parents at their hands. And so she set out to find her place in this world.

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)

Rania has that “ever onward” mentality, meaning she’s always looking towards the future and tries not to dwell in the past. She dislikes violence and those who engage in it are quickly labeled as hopeless brutes in her head. She can be rather judgemental in this sense. She enjoys the peaceful side of things and has a weakness for small animals.

 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)

Rania wishes to learn and become stronger in order to find her place in the world. She is not entirely sure how to get there though.

 

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)

She is very observant and eager to learn. What she lacks in muscle and fighting ability she makes up for in thinking and decision making.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)

She’s combat averse and will just about lose to anyone else in any fight. She needs to at least learn some self defense.

 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)

Rania is slightly shorter than the average dark elf. She has a rather slim physique with little muscle buildup. She has silver hair and redish eyes. She doesn’t have any scars or anything of the sort.
