The Privilege of Servitude

Dictum of Servitude

 

Servantry like it’s previous system is an efficient way to progress the nation and its developments. During these trials, those who are given the privilege of such servitude will follow their master into the life the Spirits presented for them. In time, the servant will learn the complimentary survival skills, understanding of the Orcish tongue, and awareness of the Spirits of the World. Those loyal to War Lords may have the servant assigned to one’s Clan for extra labor, and the Clan-less shall have the servant stripped from the Lord and redistributed to a Clan-assigned Lord.

 

The Duties of the Goth (Lord):

• Assuring the safety and obedience of the Servant. A dead servant is no servant at all.

• Introduces the lifestyle of the Orcs as well as teachings of the Spirits and the Shamans.

• Providing tasks for the Servant that will start off small but eventually rise to larger tasks to test the servant’s capabilities.

• Do NOT task Servantry upon Children for it is dishonorable and inefficient. 

• Do NOT punish your Servant to the extent of mutilation for the Servant must be presentable to the other Lords. If a servant is seen with such mutilation, punishment will be assessed by the word of the Targoth.

 

The Duties of the Servant:

• Cooperate with your Lord and follow his/her word for reputation is spread through acts of Boldness and Valor.

• In order to prevent any confusion of foreign customs and representation, the Servant must wear apparel similar to the Orcish people.

• The length of Servantry is extended to 5 years of labor and study (5 Weeks IRL)

• Punishment for the disobedient will be received in the form of extra labor. If further disobedience is shown to the Lord then non-lethal force will be exercised.

 

After fulfilling the acts of Servantry, a choice will be presented before the Servant allowing two paths for the individual to walk down:

 

1. Returning to their previous homeland, using the knowledge granted by Orcs to their own benefit.

2. Presentation before the Rex to request the Trials required to earn the Honorary status amongst the people of Krugmar.
