The Lyons Institute is dedicated towards the understanding of other cultures and perspectives. We are now offering missions to any that have a thirst for adventure. To keep a civilized manner we only allow one person to take up one mission at a time, and these must be completed in a hastily fashion, we don't want people dilly dallying about. More difficult missions may come up to those that complete many others. Current Available Missions If you want to embark on any of these missions please visit Gabriel in Halstaig, or send him a bird. ((Saveforthememory)) Exploring Johannesburg The old capital of the Fifth Empire still feels the effects of the devastating thanium bomb. The Lyons Institute requires an adventurer to observe and record the outskirts of the Johannesburg ruins. Risk: Medium Reward: 75 minas Foraging the Darkbloom Forest The Darkbloom Forest houses many fascinating fauna and flora along its grassy floor as well as in it's tree tops. We need a botanist to collect samples of the wildlife and report back. Risk: Low Reward: 45 minas Mapping the Hou-zi Jungles The Hou-zi jungles have gone long unexplored, until now. We need a brave soul to enter the dangerous territory and map and write about the jungle. You will be provided with a small machete to hack away the dense vines of the jungle. Risk: High Reward: 115 minas Addressing John Lyons As many of you know, John Lyons the Cartographer passed away just a few years ago. We are continuing his legacy by reviving and expanding the John Lyons Institute. The Lyons Institute will now be headed by Gabriel, for more information contact him via bird or in person at Halstaig. I can go in and look over the main building! I'm an old and dead facker from the westerlands! When I'm hell of free I'll easy do that!
