sometimes darkness can show you the light

Nynaeve would feel herself floating, her body that was rather numb slowly beginning to feel again. Her eyes would slowly open, looking about the room curiously. Confusion set in. This was not her home. It wasn't long before she realized how quiet it was. Then the elfess remembered.

She had been unattuned, her gifts taken from her after a trial. She had been taken from her home, knocked out and completely unable to defend herself. Her ears would slowly pin to her cheeks as she tried to remember more of what happened. Nothing would come to her, just the fact she had been in complete darkness. "What happened to me..." she asked herself quietly.

Slowly, she emerged from her bed she had been in. Nyn was stiff, however what drove her to move was something that had been on her mind upon waking: the location of Oropher and Amalie. She knew she wasn't within the Grove that she had called her home. That was where she managed to head first. Nyn moved about, attempting to find them. Alas, there was no luck...and panic set in.

She returned to the original place, seeing all the evidence that someone had been caring for her body as she slept. She found a piece of paper and a quill, leaving a note to whomever had been taking care of her body while she slept.

"To whomever was caring for me,

I thank you for making sure I was taken care of. I am sorry I have decided to part like this but I must find my husband and daughter. They are no where to be found within our home. If I could thank you in person, I would...however this is goodbye.

Please make sure those of my circle knows what happened to me. Let them know I lived and I will live. Tell them to be strong, to make sure to continue to fight for our cause despite their Archdruii have disappeared. The Circle of the Old Hunt will live on through those Oropher and I have taught.

Tell Hareven I thank him for being a close friend and ally to me. For being a wonderful student. He will go far, I am sure of it. One day, perhaps, he will become an Archdruid of the circle as well. He is a hard worker. Let him know I expect him to care for Blossom and Kraden...as well as Silvyr.

Tell Anthron he is in charge of my Seed. It is his right now, being High Elder. I believe he will go far with it and be a much better leader than I was within the family.

If you can find my other family, let them know I love them dearly...however I cannot stay in Axios.

I thank you, again, for caring for me until I awakened. May the Aspects guide you.

Signed

Nynaeve Sagehand-Deathsbane"

The note would be left with a raven feather.

With that, the former druid would take off in the dead of night....never to be seen from again.

Spoiler

This is my goodbye. I wish to thank all those who have made a big impact on my life. I will forever love all of you dearly.

Good luck...and farewell.

Hareven would wordlessly read the note, before wandering away.Silas padding along side him, the Ker'Wolf vigilant as Brother Bluejay went to hide his pain, the elderwood staff lit up with sorrowful, blue flowers as he trailed into the Ceru mountains, hoping the cold winds will numb his heart..

Amaryllis would sniff upon hearing the news of Nyn's departure. "Thought she and Hareven were in love." She muses to herself as she carves an arrowhead. A half grin forms on the right side of her face. Flicking her glance up to the night sky, Amaryllis sighs, her voice quiet.

"But I understand all the same Nynaeve, sometimes our hearts remain hung up on one person. I don't blame you, though I wish you'd not hurt him that way." The cannibal's arm then twitches as she resumes her never ending toil of making arrows. "Lost too many people, that poor dwarf has."

Anthron blinked a few times as he was told the news, still caring for his child alongside Kefi. "..She's just.. gone..?" the elf let out a quiet sigh. "Aspects guide her safely wherever she may go, then.." He then sighed softly, putting the child to bed and going to light a candle, saying a silent prayer to the Aspects  before raising his voice back to its normal. "This land isn't for all of us, and it's known Nyn didn't deserve all the things that happened to her." Afterwards, he went to sit in a chair, getting some much needed rest.
