-The cold air surrounding the manor whipped at the woman’s cheek, though her cheeks remained their normal peach color, instead of taking on a rosy blush. She sat there outside the manor, her feet planted within the snow that covered all of the manors grounds. She glanced up with a sigh, the sound of feet making their way through the snow present. There stood an ironclad man within the snow. “What is your business here?” Arden chirped out, eyes scanning over the man. “Where is the mother?” He’d reply quickly “The mother?” She’d question, her hands tightening into fists “Yes.” He’d bark out. “You should leave” She’d groan out, the ice around the manors yard beginning to crack and shift somewhat. “No” He’d shake his head taking a step forwards into the manors grounds. Arden would continue to stare forwards, before slowly her skin would begin to shift away from its natural peach color, instead replaced with an icy blue color, her eyes shifting from their grey color, to a glowing piercing blue, and her hair becoming snow white. “You do not belong here paladin.” She’d shake her head a tad, her voice sounding a tad shaken. The man stood there, golden light beginning to pool around him. He’d begin to advance towards Arden. Her eyes would widen as she stared at the man, her hands raising up, the ice spikes within the yard groaning out as they began to shift, as the man advanced towards her they ice spikes would move to the woman’s defense, seeking to block the paladin's path. As a shield of light moved around him, and he collided both his form and the shield into the ice, it’d easily be shattered. Arden would stumble backwards, and land upon her rear “I do not wish to fight any longer” She’d whimper out, slowly reaching a hand into her pocket. “Your keys?” The paladin huffed, staring down at the witch. “I cannot betray my sisters.” As she spoke she moved her hand out of her pocket, the set of keys in hand. She place them down into the snow, where ice slowly wrapped around them, before delving deep into the snow, hidden from the holy man. “Any last words?” The paladin asked as his glaive raised above her head, holy light beginning to flood over it. “We are some of the strongest creatures within the world, yet we are damaged beyond repair.” She’d whimper, her eyes staring down into the snow. “We live without hope, but we will never die.” Her words seemed to be more for herself than anyone nearby “We.. are the definition of cursed, always and forever.” She’d slowly peer up, closing her eyes as the man brought the glaive down, a bolt of light shooting into the woman’s body. She’d fall to the ground with a ‘thud’, a soft sigh of relief coming from her as her eyes slowly fluttered close. And so the life of Arden Faisehn, or Sitara Heddwyn to others came to an end, within the cold snow that she had becoming all too familiar with. Found within the woman's room would be various notes, addressed to those close to her, it was unknown why these letters were written.-

To Ezekiel

Spoiler

Dear Brother
I’m sorry for everything. I’m sorry you met me when my life cascaded into ruin. I’m sorry I couldn’t help you as much as you helped me. Please do not mourn my death, simply know that I am at peace.

With Love, Arden.

To The Nazorean

Spoiler

You’re the reason my life turned out this way. You wounded me beyond repair. When I was in pain, unspeakable pain, I had no one to turn to. You left,  and I had to carry on. I was broken glass, expected to keep itself together, while being used.
Even though this is all true, I cannot help but let you back in.
My ideal of a perfect father still rests within my mind.

Farewell Father, Arden.

To My Sisters

Spoiler

I had good times with you all. Perhaps the curse is easy for you to live with, however I cannot continue on. It’s to strong, I cannot find happiness anymore, believe me I tried. Thank you for being the family I lost many years ago. Thank you for caring.

With Love, Sitara.

To Arden

Spoiler

We’ve come a long way, broken and battered, but we came far. I’m sorry I couldn’t live up to your expectations, I never became a great blacksmith, or a princess in a large castle, like we used to dream when we were young. I feel hopeless, depressed, and most of all scared. I’m sorry Arden, please forgive me.

-Arden.

In the matter of hours, Svette would be graced with the letters. Sniffling sisters and heartbroken murmurs could be flushed through the manor. Yvette upon reading the note would drop it, her own feet crumbling to her floor. She began to have her hair drape down all sides of her face, discarding her face. The air swirled with snow as she shouted, "You idiot..." She swallowed down a cry before moving again. "I could've done something... I was her foolish mentor!"

Awakened

Nazorean's hand glided over the letter, reading it for the third time. A frown was plastered across his face, he could feel a cold and deep sadness linger in his heart. His eyes scanned the short letter with recognition before they turned up towards the crowning sun upon the dark sky. He sat up amongst the grass, setting off on his way towards Mordhelm. Idea's springing to mind, the saddened soul trekked on anyway. There still lingered hope, it seemed, in his daughter. He knew what he ought to do.
