To Respect the Disrespected, In Flawed

Recommended Posts

The ruined area around the shrine of the Aspects echo'ed, the hollow loss of the damage had been done. Carsandra had been watching the area causally, looping back every once and awhile. The sky had drawn into the night, and the place had felt for the first time...hollow, empty. Only the shadows of the recently re-lit fire danced in the background, as she stepped up to the clearing.

Blood on the grass, benches destroyed, shrines tilted and vines wrapping around it. Grass grown in odd patches and then torn. She rubbed her face, looking at the damages. The quiet moonlight reflecting in the small clearing. Unknown to her, just the night before her Uncle had stood at the Bull's yew tree, uttering a prayer. But that wasn't the purpose of her venture today.

While she didn't have any disrespect for the Aspects, she often felt a nagging sensation at the back of her mind. It wasn't as much as a pressing concern, just, that something needed to be done, in order to return things to normal. But she could never do it on her own, her own Voidal sapped limbs would not hold her, and the help was not there. She left, to return later.

When she returned, she discovered that things had been repaired. She shook her head, smiling a tad, then set to work, doing the only thing she knew what she was good at.

Was it disrespectful? Maybe.

Would it hurt them? No.

She took a glance around the area, before beginning her work.
