By name of my brother, Adelard; the one who was so dastardly stricken by impertinence on behalf of the Renatian crown. We will bow no longer, for the feats of man are ahead and no longer under your reign. Williams' eyes were heavy and his muscles ached from the constant effort against the Norlandic people. The information which was about to be brought to him would only tire him more. "This is Disastrous," William would exclaim, his brows arching downward and his lips curling into a sour frown, which painted an angry demeanor on his face. "Now not only must we put down the Norlandic pagans and the heathens in Haense, but we must now strike against men who once served with us, too." The scene that was once filled with glee and celebration of recent victory had now turned gloomy, a vile taste of treason in the mouths of William and those who were present. "Damn the Brandts then, let them fall too should they tarnish the good name of Renatus!" said one of the Rubens bannermen who was present, and the others erupted into roars of an agreement, the scene returning to laughing and feasting once more.
