2nd of The Deep Cold, 1660

 

I have fled from the Dominion which I once called my home. I keep my serperate diary with me, however I hold it more as a reminder of what I once was. As for, yet again I fled. This time not from Silver Walls, but from green pastures and idle gardens. 

Ever since my third and last task, nightmares of my Guide approached me in the night. It got to the point where I could not sleep without a nightmare. I developed insomnia and acrophobia, and have pretty bad trust issues. I simply thought to myself 'Is this how I want to live?' and the answer was no.

In a plight of desperation, I sent a letter to a friend of mine, where I spoke with him about my current situation. He offered me another chance, another life, and his offer to be my Impera. I gladly accepted, and moved to a dwarven city. 

 

Since of this new sudden drastic change in my life, I no longer was fit to call myself 'Dedicant'. There is nothing worse than a person holding a false title. Standing near the firepit, I gently took out the mini-Mother statue. 

 

"Mother and Father of the Ascepts, I no longer see myself fit to be one of your fold. I have tried, and failed. But failure of Dedicany does not mean failure in other things, and when I failed in the trials to be a Druid, I shall not fail in my trials as a Voidal Mage. I will return to my roots, and seek out a Voidal Art teacher. 

This, is my formal goodbye from the Asceptism faith, from the Dedicany, from my Guides, Guyden and Harold."

 

With that, I chucked the statue in the flames, letting it burn it, along with the title.

 

After researching quite a bit into religions, I have separated the religions that interest me, to the ones that vaguely do, from the ones I will not partake in.
