Bunemma 123 Share Posted May 26, 2018 A Celebration of Sorts Long foretold are the events of ages past, honouring the Aspects. We hereby invite you to such an event, hosted within the Dominion of Malin, in its jewel, Caras Eldar. This event shall remind us of our culture and religion, promoting Aspectism at its core. Events We invite you to participate in the Grand Hunt, pledged to the God of the Hunt, Cernunnos himself. All are welcome to enjoy the proceedings of this event, but if you are not physically capable or wish for something smaller to occupy your time, a fishing competition shall be held. The one with the biggest, and heaviest fish, shall receive a sum of a thousand minas, and shall be crowned King or Queen of the River. Fishing rods shall be provided, but in limited supply. If you wish to bring your own, you may do so as well. Those partaking in the hunt are encouraged to bring their own weapons or items of value, whatever you think will aid you in the The Kill. A grand feast shall be held, with the prize of the Hunt centered, and hopefully, devoured. Each attending guest is heavily encouraged to bring some sort of food, whether it be something you’d killed or cultivated, so that none might go hungry during this joyous affair. Bring your finest, and expect to taste the finest! Attire Although the general attire for this event is whatever you’re able to find, the one must have is a mask. Whether you wish to channel your inner monster or play as a creature, you are welcome to creative freedom. Examples are provided below, if you’d like some inspiration. The best mask shall receive an award. Activities A competition based on speed shall also be held. Bring your own horse or travel on foot, you shall be tasked with finding three objects within the city with only a few clues. Each destination you arrive at shall have another clue for the next. The first to return with all three items shall be given a thousand minas, and a prize item. Another contest shall be held, especially for Druids. The task shall be to grow a flower or flowering plant before our very eyes, those with the most creativity and flare shall receive a prize of a thousand minas. These flowers shall then be used to adorn the citizens of Caras Eldar, and a small parade shall commence. Feel free to give away flowers, throw petals in the air, and display your love for whatever or whomever it may be. OOC Information The event will be on Saturday, June 2nd at 3pm EST. Please let Bunemma/Aerenna know what animal you are attending as, just so I can let you know if anyone else has the same animal! I hope to see you all there ?
