She has side-burns, decorated with gold. Eyes: Fiery red ‡ Koralon is left-handed, though was not born as one. Her body was mirrored during a dwarven-ascended cross-time expedition to Kal'Urguan. Skills & Abilities The Art of War For the first 80 years of her life, Koralon learned to fight with conventional Dwarven weapons. Only in the latter half did she opt to slowly shift over to the use of magic. She served in the legion using a shield and mace, the latter she still uses today. She also fought briefly with halberds and crossbows before becoming a battlemage. (4/5) Mace & hammers - Fair proficiency (2/5) Halberds - Rusty knowledge ‡ Koralon did not learn to ride a horse until the Coalition Wars, where she was gifted a stallion by a family of humans. ‡ The Coalition Wars saw Koralon's full service in all major battles & quite a few raids. She did, however, fight the Orenian empire years prior as auxiliary force to the Warnation of Krugmar. The Art of Knowledge When the mage Lhindir arrived to Kal'Nikaer to ask the dwarves for aid with removing the runic spike in his chest, he offered in exchange to teach them magic. He choose three students: Svardin Grandaxe, Grand King Torvin Grandaxe and Koralon. Over the following years she developed a far more loyal and dedication relation with Lhindir. In the middle of her studies, Koralon remained outside the Kal'Varak while Zahrer Irongrinder guided Lhindir inside, and was the one to physically remove the spike from his chest. Decades of friendship followed, though with a slow distancing resulting from Lhindir's thrive for power and descent into megalomania. She opted to seek out some older friends of hers, those who have known Lhindir and opposed him. She continued her magical research with the convocation, and was involved during the foundation of the Johannesburg conservatory as a to-be-teacher. Much later, she began experimenting with Conjuration, a school of magic that was introduced to her by Lhindir. Presently, she is studying golemancy from her father, who returned to teach the dwarves after the clans re-united under the banner of Kaz'Ulrah, and is also learning transfiguration from Anordal, son of Lhindir, whom she met after her return to the lands of Atlas. (5/5) Fire Evocation - Teacher (2/5) Conjuration - Studying lazily (1/5) Transfiguration - Lurking around (1/5) Golemancy - Barely touched ‡ Koralon learned & first used arcane coupling (circling) within the Kal'Varak to unleash an immense fire spell with Torvin Grandaxe and Crumena Izalith. ‡ The dwarf believes her aura colour of orange is a result of the fiery Doomforged blood and legacy. In reality, it's a simple reflection of Iblees' curse on the dwarves: greed. ‡ She learned combustionary evocation in Kal'Nikaer from Lhindir, though in the presence of Kypris, the inventor of the magic sub-school. The Art of the Craft Koralon was destined to be a smith. She grew up learning the art and worked for 20 years in the Iron Honour before her departure from Axios. She learned most of what she knows together with her cousin, Arias Doomforged, along with her long-time Iron Honour comrades, Kalviin Ireheart and Mafraedon Starbreaker. During her tenure there as forgemaster, she learned the more exotic alloys that one can smith. In her prime, Koralon forged aengul aurum blades for Ascended and various relics and trophy weapons for clan fathers and nation leaders. Two of her most prized works are Svardin's axe, and a claymore she made for a Warhawke chieftain. During the latter part of the Iron Honour, she learned the art of warforging together with her nephew Drakaem. It's a black mace she looted from a raid on the former Axios capital of Haense, Saint Karlsburg. Relics The Helm of Dungrimm A relic she recovered with fellow Dwarves, this helmet lent the wearer the ability to animate a corpse an bind them into service. The Runeblade of Demagol Doomforged Actually an enchanted blade, Demagol's sword was capable of unleashing a flurry of flames through an enchant embedded within. Lhindir-buster Armour As Lhindir's megalomania grew, so did Koralon's paranoia towards her teacher. She crafted the Lhindir-buster armour in her private forge within Kal'Nikaer as a last-resort option against the mage. It is a set of plate armour forged from thanhic alloy, with numerous thanhium studs dotting its surface. She made use of the armour once, during which it was severely damaged and multiple studs melted. Elf-ear necklace Koralon collects the ears of elves she captures or defeats to continue an Ireheart tradition. Her necklace, since her original trials, grew to carry the ears of many more elves, including a pair from the founder of Veris and the newly added pair from a princess. Family Koralon was born to Dormin Doomforged, which leaves her as a direct descendant of Urguan, being his great-great-great-great-grandfather). She has a single son from Frerir Irongrinder.
