Alternate Applications Information

Since early this year we have switched over to a new application format which involved having all older applications archived along with the post with the Alternate Application format. This involved moving the Alternate Applications into a new area as well which has caused some confusion. Here is a post to inform those on how to properly submit an Alternate Application.

Where can I find the Alternate Applications?

Alternate Applications are located within the Apply tab. Once in the Apply tab please locate the back tab labeled Personas in the top left hand corner. You will then be able to view the Whitelist Application Forum and Alternate Application Forum. Please select Alt Applications. 

 

How can I make an Alternate Application?

Making an Alternate Application is simple and easy. Please select add new application once in the correct area to apply. You will notice that Alternate Applications still have the format of the Whitelist Applications, which is where confusion arises for some. This section is being worked on by our Web-Devs still. In big bold text you will read 

This is the Alt Account application. It's a work in progress but we are trying to implement this so you can quickly apply as an alt.
For now, in the "Character Biography" section, instead of providing a persona biography please copy over the form found Here and answer the questions to the best of your abilities. Thanks!

What is the Alternate Application format?

The Alternate Application Form should be titled the name of the account you wish to have whitelisted. 

You will then be asked to copy and paste a small questionnaire on out of character information into the biography section. No in character information is required. 

The questionnaire is as follows:

Do you understand you cannot have both of these accounts interacting with one another? This will result in a ban if you are caught!:

Do you understand that if one account is banned, so will be the other(s)?:

How long have you been on LotC?:

How many accounts do you currently have white-listed (including main)?:

 

I submitted my Alternation Application now what?

Please patiently await review. Feel free to make an /atreq in game to alert any Application Team Members online you are awaiting review. Please also be certain to log in with this account at least once, as it follows the old format still and will not be able to be whitelisted without a log in. 

 

My Alternation Application was ..... but.....?

My Alternate Application was accepted but I am still a soul. Please alert an Application Team Member with your accepted application link and they will be happy to assist. 

My Alternate Application was denied but why? Please contact the Application Team Member who reviewed your application if you believe this was in error. 

My Alternate Application was denied because I am banned. Unfortunately it is considered ban evading if you are trying to whitelist an account to play while being banned, please await your ban time to resubmit your application.

Please obtain the link to the correct Alternate Application Format within here while the Web-Devs work on implementing the new format within the applications

 

Please open the spoiler within that post and copy the format inside

 

Title the application your Alternate Account Username. Fill out the format within the character biography section of the application.

Please locate an Application Team Member to assist you using /atlist to give you a view of all Application Team Members online at the time

 

Please create an /atreq to make an Application Team request to view your Alternate Application or answer your questions

Alternate Applications follow all the same rules as a Whitelist Application would. 

Been receiving a lot of the same questions on Alternate Applications so I hope this helped.
