The Hamlet of Blackden

Blackden is a hamlet situated on the eastern coast of Atlas, the hamlet has been reconstructed from the remains of an old pirate cove as far as could be said when the first settlers moved there. And so they began to demolishing the pirate town and started rebuilding it. The newly appointed Bailiff have overseen much of what is currently Blackden, and hopes to expand more upon it in the future. The surrounding lands have ample room for agricultural growth. And the land is peaceful to settle upon for those who seek a place not scarred by the wars that have ravaged the lands of Atlas. They had taken the notice of the Duke of Rïvia and he would allow the Bailiff of Blackden to continue his work, and recruit levies to defend Blackden if needed. And later on establish a small navy, which is currently halted, as the Bailiff has deemed it better to build homes for new settlers around its borders, to support the hamlet. the Bailiff has deemed it better to build homes for

The Bailiff’s main task is overseeing the stock of the settlement of which he has been bestowed, he oversees the welfare of the settlement aswell as the people who live within or on the borders of the hamlet.

 

 

 

 

 

Available positions

 

Now Hiring!

 

Guard Captain

He will be permitted to recruit levies to defend the settlement

from raiders, and will receive a pay of 75 minas every fortnight.

Will be accountable for acquiring his own armour and weapons maintenance.

 

Lieutenant

Will receive a pay of 45 minas per fortnight

They will act as second-in-command should the Captain be otherwise incapacitated or deceased. Will be accountable for his own armour and weapons maintenance.

Man-At-Arms

They will receive wages going up to 35 minas every fortnight.

Will be provided with a set of armour, and a sword and shield.

Levies

They will receive wages up to 20 minas every fortnight.

And will be provided with a set of armour and a sword and shield.
