The Battle of Boiling Blood

The battlefield was littered with the corpses of the forces of The September Prince, the grass stained with blood. Much of the trenches dug by the dwed of The Kingdom of Bogrin were filled with the boiling hot blood of the sky shark that brought destruction upon the elven siege camp.

The descendants had rallied together to repel the Prince’s invading force, and had reclaimed the land once belonging to Haelun’or. The Prince would be unable to advance further south, the southern settlements could rest. After departing from the battlefield, a bird dropped a note into Ulhart’s hands. The letter was from the King of The Kingdom of Ord, Darek Hammerfist, who was attempting to move the Kal’Varak to one of the September Princes soul trees. Ulhart assembled a rally from the streets of Holm and marched to Darek’s aid.

Upon reaching the site, many of the dwed there were gravely wounded. The dwed from The Temple of Az’Adar and The Kingdom of Ord had fought off an assault of bears, but were in need of assistance to move the Kal’Varak into the soul tree. Ulhart and his reinforcements pulled the Kal’Varak alongside the wounded dwed until the gem touched the tree.

The wounded dwed were brought back to Kal’Nurem where aid was administered. Afterwards, Ulhart returned to the halls of Kal’Bogrin and began drawing up a battle-plan for a second attack on the Autumn Wildlands.

Marrow grins wildly as he gives the skyshark what he thinks is a middle finger with his missing left arm, “Take that, you cloud-eating, walnut-brained, fish stick!” he cackles to himself before frowning and realizing that it is midnight and everyone left the field of battle hours ago. “Oh.”

Kazrin starts writing a book about the accounts and various happenings of the Battle of Boiling Blood pausing before thinking of how he was gonna write “flying vomiting sky shark” into the book without being taken as a joke.
