Guest Share Posted October 28, 2018 City Of Cyrilsburg The city of Cyrilsburg, its history dating back to 1635, when duke Karl I reclaimed the title of Duke of Curon. In 1641, the Duke and his people made the journey to Atlas, eventually forming a Principality. Settling at the foot of Bear mountain, where the city now known as Cyrilsburg currently lies. It is in the heart of the land between many human settlements, namely the Empire Of Men capital, and Markev. A hub of trade and progress, the current city is lead by Count Wilhelm Karl Devereux, son of Alfred I and grandson of Karl I. The city boost its newer style of apartment living and grandeur. With great views over the mass farmlands and cezna river. Welcoming descendants of all races. Vassals of the Empire of Men. They serve the empire, with loyalty. Religion Curonic people are Canonists, throughout their history they have supported the Church of Canon. This has continued into modern times , with the Blessed Cathedral of St Johannes being built in the center of the city, and donations to the church from the peoples of Cyrilsburg are always given. Both civilians and soldiers alike participate in masses and take part in various religious ceremonies, from marriages to baptisms. Trade and Employment Trading is a staple of the city , being one of its main focuses and places of work for most people. Currently there is many jobs available within the city, from butlers to merchants and scholars. Many within the city earn well and live well. County Trade The Order Of Ursus The Order of Ursus was first formed by a group of Curonic Knights following the fall of their Principality. It was tasked with preserving and guarding the ideals, culture and values of Curonic soldiers. After House Devereux returned to Bear Mountain, they uncovered the first scrolls of this Order and reformed it. It thus became a military and Knightly Order under the Empire of Man, charged to additionally defend the County of Cyrilsburg, its vassals as well as allies. The Grand Knight of the Order is Count Wilhelm Devereux, with Edward Devereux his second in Command. Following those two are officers, which effectively lead divisions of men, charged to lay down their lives for the safety of the citizens of Cyrilsburg. Housing Housing within the city is split either side of the main square buildings, with a large amount of good size apartments. Close to all the activities of the city. After passing Belvitz and the Empire Of Man capital, you will come across a roadside shrine , turn left at this and follow the road over the wooden bridge. You will see a stone bridge upon crossing this you will enter the lands of the county and to your right, you will see the city gates.
