An Adrian Poem

[!] Around fair Belvitz, a new tune written by Timeo de la Baltas would be performed by bards and children alike about the Duma of 1695 – it goes as follows. [!]

You may see this jovial drunkard performing about Belvitz, oh my!

Spoiler

Over some dice in fair Belvitz,

Decisions are made through games, not fits!

Ran by Duke Ratibor ‘the Rambunctious’,

Superb was the food, so delicious!

What jubilant manners, what odd sorts,

Despite standing on the table, they dug at the food like warts!

Roscoe and Incredibilis both spoke in union,

But come time to vote, ‘ayes’ erupted in unison!

Making free states of a tavern,

Offering respect to the owner and ale as they govern!

Bishop Ritz found cause to pump it up,

Without thanks to that fair free state for what was in his cup!

Such is Carrion rule and the power of its Black™,

Boldly left open were the doors - they feared no attack!

Attacking they’d dare do though, as Constantine stood,

Vouching for work and conquest where he could!

Before those attending a Count sat menacingly,

Was this there true fear? Quite possibly!

None who beheld such a sight could deny,

Adria’s fair Duma left lame legislating to die!

Dragutin, a dirty raevir peasant who hangs around Belvitz, claps! “Man is very talented. Maybe should sing for Emperor, da!”

Eléonore Josephine claps onto her palm, a small smile to go along with a light giggle as she tries to take notice of any of those who would have given applause. “Se garçon is un wonderful poète! très magnifique!” She’d look to her sister, a glimmer of awe in her orbs of Sepia.
