An illustration of Rodrik and Sarah, c. 1709 A letter would be written out by Ser Rodrik Kortrevich and his betrothed on a multitude of parchment papers in which all would be sealed firmly with a Kortrevich seal. The papers were flown via carrier pigeons all throughout the city of Reza, Haense dropping one paper at each residence. One parchment paper would seen on the streets that reads; “To the great residents of the kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska I welcome you all so graciously to the wedding between myself; Ser Rodrik Kortrevich and my wife to be Sarah Greenhill. I myself who reside as the Knight Paramount and Commander of the Marian Retinue am eager to familiarize myself with the significant citizens of this great kingdom and to spend time peacefully over a delectable feast that’ll include well cooked meals and well fermented alcohol.
