“Dearest Citizens of Arcas,

 

I bring with this missive news of the greatest treachery, words to which indicate those of unstable mind and to which an absence of consular officiality proceeds. The Principality of Alderyn lay within utmost ruin, the populace having abandoned its once grandest halls and foremost council members flocking within fear of irrelevance.  

 

In response the Mali’thill of Haelun’or dared not turn back upon those which once extended a hand of gratitude, once truly held us from an abyss of extinction to which we would’ve fallen. With grace we offered an extension of our alliance, taking responsibility of their sovereignty to which they were now undeserving. To offer them a foundation upon which to rebuild and renew, to once more stabilise the Mali Commonwealth upon which we, as had Alderyn’s kings and queens in the past, continue to strive towards.

 

However today I offer an unfortunate, and sorrowful veracity for the denizens of this mortal realm. That those of current Alderyn leadership lack any of the once graceful, diplomatic nature of their predecessors. Instead they seek an illogical standoff upon those once considered close allies, repudiating any help issued to them with a harsh groundless criticism of leadership. They have sauntered into our city, whilst our council welcomed them with the open arms of allies, to simply derode any historical correspondence without fear of consequence.

 

Understand I simply offer those of equal footing a warning, that those of the cursed Alderyn state are not to be trusted. That despite all offered, worked towards and gained, their process of leadership shall always seek to dismantle attempts of unity. For them any form of federation is against their instinctual cultural partisanship.

 

With the unfolded events of this elven day, the Apostates of Alderyn have denounced any efforts of the Silver & Sovereignty treaty. Sole responsibility for the departure of a vigorous pact bares the weight of their treachery.
