News spread through Arcas, though particularly in the Renetian Capital of Helena, of a new ideology in the making. An ideology based upon the recently released “On Matters of Imperium and Humanity’s Prosperity”, a posthumous release of Ser Frederick Baden. Posters are spread around the great capital, bearing the simple message of the preface of the book:

I, Frederick Alexander Baden, have been Prefect of both Carolustadt and Helena. I have sat in the Imperial Parliament for many years. Yet, I write this piece of literature during trying and harsh times. Emperor Antonius has dissolved the Imperium Hominis. Godfrey III has been crowned as Emperor of Renatus. And Joseph of Marna has been declared Holy Orenian Emperor. I do not expect that I will see this Pretender’s Rebellion to end, nor my ideas to fruition. It is instead my solemn hope that in days when this war is but a memory, that people will read this piece of literature and understand the ideas presented in it. I hope that this literature will lead people to create a fruitful and mighty Imperium, wherein all of Humanity will prosper.

 

Underneath the little text, it notes that the full book is available for reading in the Imperial Library of Helena and the Library of Dragur, with the possibility of other copies being released.

The Minister of Truth would then proceed to read the rest of the book with attention.
