Attention attention! To those of the public who wish to venture deep into the swamps beware, the caverns that contain the
vestiges of the cultists hide dangerous moving statues who prey on those who cannot see them.
If you wish to explore them, make sure to bring a companion so that they can keep an eye on them.
Furthermore, beware of traps. And whatever you do, do not touch the dark mist.

Venturers also ought to bring something to cover their mouths and noses,
the effects of the swamp mist can be devastating on unprotected lungs


Do not go into the swamp unless you have the ability to come back out alive.

Naked Faceless – Lesser Anomaly – Unknown Make – Lesser Probing unit. Slow. Weak. – Pale skinned, skinny. Featureless face, save for a mouth. – Initially encountered with mist’s arrival. No talent for using tools. Refused to wear arms or armor. Sent in large quantities prior to major assaults. Somehow capable of sending information back to allies after death. 

Faceless – Anomaly – Unknown Make – Rank and File – Pale skinned. Toned and built. Soldier variant. – Capable of effectively wielding arms and armor. Quick to adapt to situations. Capable of verbal communication. Seen actively executing plans. Understands the terrain, how best to use it and capable of executing ambushes. Knows when to retreat. Capable of mounted warfare.

Faceless Brute – Anomaly – Unknown Make – Siege | Praetorian – Typically standing a full head over other variants. Considerable Muscle Mass. Stone-like skin. Dense bones. – Experienced in the lower levels, these creatures are capable of climbing flat vertical surfaces, make no use of tools or armor and are, from what’s been observed at this point, of lesser intelligence. – Evade.

Sentinel – Anomaly – Unknown Make – Praetorian – Dolls, statues and mannequins of abnormally hardened material. Seen in wood and stone variants at this time. Highly resistant to attack. Flame retardant. Handling method unknown. – Eye contact seems to put the entities into an inanimate state. – Evade. 

Hounds – Mundane | Mutation – Standard dog. Used to track descendants trespassing in secured ground. Mutated variants with stronger jaws capable of bending war-grade materials observed.

Mist – Anomaly – Unknown Make – The black mist that pulsates and writhes over the region seems to be a lesser poison and gradual exposure has the following effects listed as tiers for sake of ease

• 1 – Headache. Minor ringing of the ears.
• 2 – Migraine.
• 3 – Head Splitting sensation trailed by forced revisitation of assorted memories. | Lung Capacity Reduced.
• 4 – Hallucinations. Asthma Symptoms. Prolonged muscle fatigue.
• 5 – Loss of consciousness.
• 6 – Seizures and vomiting. 
• 7 – Death

Suggested counter Measures – Bare minimum, facial wrappings. Closed Respiratory suggested. 

Direct exposure to concentrated Mist on the head results in immediate tier 4 symptoms and quickly escalates to tier 7. Anyone showing symptoms of tier 4 should be removed immediately.

Long term effects unknown.
