The Vidaus Act, 1727

An Act officially stripping the title of the Duke of Vidaus from the House of Ruthern serving within the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska.

After careful deliberation the Crown of Hanseti-Ruska hereby strip the House of Ruthern from their title of Duke of Vidaus, from this day lowering their status within the peers of the realm from that of a Great House to one of Comital rankings. Henceforth the patriarch of the House Ruthern shall only be known as the Count of Metterden and the Duchy of Vidaus is reverted back to that of the Crown.

 

This is a direct response to that the House of Ruthern for three consecutive sittings have failed to send a representative to His Majesty’s Duma, failed to attend summons to reaffirm his oaths and have failed to send a representative of his house to any court session within the reign of the current King.

Everyone knows in Haense that the first court of the new coronated King must attend that to reaffirm their oaths. This has been a thing for generations and centuries in the Kingdom. Plus if you did send someone to duma then you must be sending a ghost cause the Duma marks those who attend.
