Another tiring, slow year passes as the Exchequer of War reports a lack of engagement along the front lines in a public conference held in the Duma Hall last week. However, enemy raiding parties are still active and seek to devastate our countryside - these brigands will capture your children in attempts to enslave them for petty reasons. All sense of morality has dissipated within the enemy ranks. Should a member of this so called Alliance of Bandits attempt to accost you or your family, contact the nearest Royal Soldier for assistance. 

 

While the Haenseni Crownlands remains under control, the International Highways have become a haven of banditry. Recent earthquakes and the speed of these mounted bandits have made it difficult to catch these miscreants. However, the more they attempt their vile acts, the easier it becomes for our Soldiers to devise a plan to encircle and annihilate our enemies. Stay strong Haense!

The Centralist Party received a crushing blow as the majority of the Duma’s Lords and Ladies declared a Vote of No Confidence, thereby issuing their demands for the Markus Kortrevich’s removal from Office to His Majesty. The Lord Speaker allowed for the issue to stand, but in a poor display of politicking, the Feudalist Party caused the Duma’s sudden adjourning; the Lord Speaker having expelled the Feudalist Members of the Duma from the session at the time due to their behavior. Reasons issued by the Feudalists for this Vote is apparently the Palatine’s inability to fulfill his duties, their primary concern being the failure to construct a canal for the Capital. The King however, in his illness has been incapable of granting Royal Assent, consequently leading to a Government Shutdown. Activity is expected to resume within a year’s time. 

 

In a more shocking turn of events however, the Lord Palatine, was found struck by an assailant shortly after the Duma was adjourned. The injuries were not critical, and he quickly recovered after being rushed to the Sigismund Clinic. The attacker was not identified according to on scene reporters. An attack on such a political figure has led for concern, and wishing to protect the political sanctity of the Haeseni Kingdom, the Solicitor General of the Empire was dispatched from the Imperial Heartlands to Haense. He was last seen interviewing several members of the Duma, but has yet published any findings.

CROWN PRINCE TO BE MARRIED

 

 

Gifted to His Highness Andrik Petyr on the announcement of his marriage, Jakub MacDonough’s work depicts the soon to be marriage of the two betrothed in the Hinterlands of Haense.

In a turn of good news, the Royal Palace has announced the betrothal and eventual marriage of Andrik Petyr and Maya Alimar. Much jubilations was seen throughout New Reza as the crowds celebrated the continued securing of Royal Succession, especially when the current King, His Majesty Andrik III is beridden.

 

The Marriage Ceremony is to be held in the Basilica of the Fifty Virgins in Old Reza on Tov and Yermey. According to Palace news, the People of the Empire are invited to take place in this tremendous event in Haeseni history. It is reminded that proper etiquette is to take place during this Ceremony as with any other Royal Event - those acting out of line will face repercussions of the highest severity.

 

While concerns were brought due to their relations (Half-Twice Removed Cousins), arguments were declared to be void and null by Palace Officials. 

 

The New Reza Times wishes for the best, and hopes that their union are blessed with many children and love.

WAR MEMORIAL PROCESSION TO OCCUR 

 

 

As the war lulls, the People of Haense have recuperated from their losses and now seek to look back upon those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their Kingdom. Being placed immediately on the frontlines of the war, Haense has taken on the brunt of the enemy assault, and as a result, have lost many good men and women in the battles and conflicts that ensued. 

 

Please take a moment of your time to honour those who passed during this war and remember why we fight.
