Why is suspicious stew banned?

I crafter a bunch of these recently with the idea of selling them as Mother Broth, a new tradition that’s been being developed recently in Haense, only for them to disappear a minute after crafting. I was told it was a glitch that they were craftable in the first place, but I don’t understand. This could be a fun item to have irp, representing a not particularly well made food, or undercooked mushrooms (as I’ve been occasionally rp’ing it). Additionally, since the Hoo-Kah plugin seems to be largely broken, this could be somewhat of a band-aid fix for people who used it in the past.

I tried to find any mention of this on the forums, but couldn’t find the phrase Suspicious Stew appearing anywhere. If I’m being an idiot and missed it then please direct me to where it’s explained why it’s banned.

Thanks, hugs and kisses

most likely cuz of the op effects it can give, which can influence the roleplay

The Suspicious Stew made with dandelions provides saturation for 7 ticks, which completely fills up your saturation and almost completely fills up the hunger bar as well. It’s a completely overpowered food.

The Suspicious Stew made with oxeye daisies provides regeneration for 8 seconds, thus healing 3 health. It provides an amount of healing that would likely be used in PvP to gain an advantage.

If Suspicious Stew was allowed on the server, these two stews would be the only foods people would use (unless they wanted to stack their food, that is).

That’s fair enough, though those two recipes could easily be banned more specifically, or just have them replaced with a different effect. It sort of seems like throwing out the baby with the bathwater
