A strong lad, made her weak in the knees, his charm and wit making him quite the tease The lass fell quickly and hard, leaving only a shard. As they grew older their hands were tied, He made her his bride. Life goes on, Life goes still, And eventually she went up the hill. “Mother Mother Why? Am I never satisfied? He lays alone in bed, nearly half-dead.” “Daughter of mine, it is his time.
