A Bounty Hunt

A simple missive is hammered to walls, all the way from Helena to Morsgrad

Dear Hadvar Av Mittleland and his genocidal allies

Last saints day you put a 2,000 mina bounty on a Sheriff’s head and 100 on Curon citizens for your bounty hunters and mercenaries to collect, effectively starting a genocide against Curonian citizens. It is because of your heinous acts and wishes against humanity that I shall put 5,000 mina on your head. I will also prize anyone that brings me the head of any associating with you or related to you, 1,000 mina. If you wish war with Curonians, we will see your bloodline cease to exist. Any who claim these heads can address a letter to “Curo”.

-Worst regards

Hakon Erling reads over the bounty notice and smirks, nodding in approval ”I’ll throw in an extra 3,000 mina upon the collection of the jester’s head. I say wipe the Mitteland name from history. Nothing of loss.”

He sighs and places the missive aside, writing a letter of his own.

The Kha takes out a quill and rests it on a parchment, “As much as I would normally approve of a man acting in defence of the Highland Realm, personally I disapprove of the bounty against Curonian citizens and I’m sure my colleagues in the Privy would also agree. Even to consider the Imperial-siding Curonians to be ‘Kill on Sight’ is more than unreasonable. They should be reasoned with so they can understand the injustices that are being done to them. It doesn’t help that the situation has been escalated by the further placement of bounties.

He adds below the paragraph, “It seems that whoever this Curo is has inherited their wealth. They do not seem in the slightest literate with grammar.

“I am so scared of the man who hasn’t the balls to reveal his name. Yes.” Richard stated, on his journey to Darrowmere

“Can’t exactly kill any Curonians if Curon dissolved! Curonians aren’t a thing anymore.” The man laughed quietly to himself at the missive from the privacy of the abandoned Wonk Cave, as he worked to take it down. It was hard work, and he sighed. It made no sense to him; why would Mordsgrad and its subsidiaries agree to the treaty, only to cause trouble again? “We are just now enjoying peace.”

“You can be a Curonian withought Curon, unless you are admitting that Curon was a cultureless hole.”  Said a reptillian bounty hunter.
