Let it be known to all, that the commitment of the Basrid Ministry is one of forging a meaningful peace and understanding in Arcas. The recent events that transpired between one Pascual de Casanova and Captain Thor O’Hara of Norland were not sanctioned by the Imperial Government and thus considered unlawful and treasonous. We issue this stark warning to those who associate with the radical nationalism of Pascual de Casanova; those who seek to further damage the stability of the realm will not be tolerated. Those who work against the will of peace shall be arrested and brought to trial for treason. Those found guilty will be judged to the fullest extent of the law. It is the hope of the Basrid Ministry that other nations will guarantee their dedication to peace and justice as we have.

We understand that while we have yet not achieved full peace between our realm and the Kingdom of Sutica, King Corwin Alstreim has agreed with the Imperial Crown to withhold our conflict, as confirmed by the Palatine Concordat. Observing this, the Imperial Crown urgently welcomes all those who have further evidence of this event to come forward and share it, so that we may deliver swift justice to whomever is affiliated and against the pursuit of peace.

In addition, we invite both the Kingdom of Norland and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan to treat with us on the matter should they have further concerns, during this time of armistice. We intend to send and receive envoys wherever it pleases these two crowns.

We do this in our dedication to meaningful peace, and so all nations of Arcas may continue to remain united and focus our military efforts against these demons.

Issued and confirmed by Vice-Chancellor Jonah Stahl-Elendil

John Charles reads the missive from his desk in the Novellen library. “Well written,” he murmurs to himself, upon setting aside the document. “I must speak to the Vice Chancellor. The lies of the enemies of the descendants cannot go unanswered. We must dispel the utterly criminal behavior from this sellsword and liar. And then, we must defeat these demons.” He huffs, and sets to work penning a response.

Sir Jahan smiles upon receiving the Vice-Chancellor’s missive, “Yes, the man Pascual de Casanova action’s were not sanctioned by anyone. He was not acting upon His Imperial Majesty nor my Uncle’s orders.” He’d go to grab a cup of Black Tiger Tea, “Ah, I love this tea.”
