THE 1ST EVERARDINE CONGRESS

9th of Tobias’ Bounty, 1786

 

“FOR GOD, EMPIRE AND MAN.”

 

On the 9th of Tobias’ Bounty, the last of the Everardines came together in Varoche Palace to discuss the future of the party and its inevitable revival. Worried about the false choice between highly liberal politics and Haeseni regionalism: the Everardines hope to be the third way for sensible patriots, wishing for their lives not to be infringed upon. Thus, the First Everardine Congress concludes: 

 

WE HEREBY AFFIRM,

 

The nomination of the following candidates to stand on the list for the Everardines during the next election cycle.

 

I. Lemuel de Langford @Trenchist

II. Leofric Edmund Pruvia-Albarosa  @MCVDK

III. Adrian Othodoric Helvets @Draeris

IV. Philip Louis Pruvia-Albarosa @SerFinnick

 

To be confirmed next Everardine Congress prior to the election, with a potential expansion of this list. 

 

WE FURTHERMORE AFFIRM,

 

To agree with the previous Everardine platform, and focus on the following core principles:

 

I. To preserve the Canonist authority over social norms and values.

II. To protect the relevancy and the integrity of the Imperial peerage.

III. To enshrine privileges for Imperial provinces in a devolved government structure. 

IV. To involve more of the population in the governance of the Empire.

V. To lower taxation across the board. 

VI. To establish a Ministry of Culture to promote Haeseni, Rhoswenii and Imperial culture more professionally and improve the recordkeeping of each respective history.
