Rig 17591 Share Posted September 25, 2020 Siege of Last Light Camp Sequence 1 10th of the First Seed, 1787. ((OOC: I would like to thank all who came to the event today! We started out strong and though there was difficulty towards the end in managing a lot of the individual attacks towards the end, I am happy that most people appeared to have a fun time. Major thanks to Spoons for directing the event and the plot. Also major thanks to _Elad_, GammaByte, Remeron, and FloralHedgehog for consultation, building services, and assisting with conducting scenes throughout the event and participating as actors. The next event will be at 5PM EST 26th of Sept. )) The beginning of the Onslaught. (Demonic Legionaires charging into Last Light Camp.) The day began with the rumble of the Demonic Cohort outside. The Damnable Horde had arrived at the gates of Last Light, no doubt due to the loud operations taking place there and all throughout the Korvassa region. A hundred-and-fifty Demons stood on the precipice of that hallowed threshold, the last bastion of defense against the Demons in the area. Somewhere, the General plotted in silence amidst his minions. Wreathed in full black plate-mail armor, he grasped the fabled Golden Hammer in his hand. A figure of myth, truly, to behold. One that can be three; three that can be one. The onslaught began and many men died. A brave shot fired by Rha’kir and Laetranis bought the defenders time. Over and over the Demons of the First Wave were ground down into bits of plate, cloth, and ash that remained after their souls were transmitted back to the High Hells from whence they came. The defenders were brave despite all that happened. Explosions rocked the camp’s barriers and tents, and imps carted flaming torches through the air and set fire to the tents. The victory was hard-won and that much is certain. However, the tents burned and the battered gate had been pried apart, and soot and ash are all that remain of the invaders. But would it last? Will the defenders be able to repel The General’s army? THE CRIMSON SIEGE OF LAST LIGHT CAMP HAS BEGUN. Screenshots

Guest Share Posted September 26, 2020 Without further adieu, Massive thanks to @FlipChimp, @Spoon, @Lockages, @CH453, @Gamma, and @BathRugMan. FlipChimp, Spoon, Lockages and CH453 for acting. Gamma for acting and building. Bathrugman for pasting and building. It has been a pleasure doing these events and I’m very pleased at the turn-out today. Thank you so much for coming, and I hope that your time in Brazil (Last Light Camp) was memorable. THE DEMISE OF LAST LIGHT CAMP The Demonic Army mobilized for a third time to latch its jaws on Last Light Camp. Mobilizing, the General boomed and the attack began. The frontal assault however was only a distraction, as the Beach Team set its sights upon the wall. An imp flew at the wall with explosives and blew up, a sea of gore and splintered wood collapsing to the ground as shrapnel flew out in all directions. Vyasaldris and her compatriots sallied to defend the breach and successfully pushed the majority of the forces back. With Ciliren’s help, the demons were enveloped in a dense smog and suffocated; but it was too late, as many Demonic Legionnaires had made it onto the boats and pier and set them alight. Descendants and Demons clashed. Men died, demons died. The Three That Are One peered up towards the sky in abject terror and wheezed, “THE HIVE! WHO BROUGHT THEM HERE?” To the horror of the Demons who had sallied that day, The Hive destroyed them all. The General fled, and but one Legionnaire survived and rowed away in a raft. As the fires spread and a thick smoke rose from the camp like the burning wick of a candle, the night sky was bustling with the movements of those terrible – fierce – alien-like creatures. The bugs descended upon the other Demons and Descendants alike and wreaked havoc. As the Dwarves arrived to reinforce the camp, they looked between one another and Hareven after killing a single soldier, and then returned to their boat and departed seeing as it was a lost cause. Fleeing, the Druids and Siramenor along with their allies fled back to Aegrothond in the mouth of a great whale. Like that, the battle was over and the camp had fallen. Last Light Camp had perished in the Crimson Siege; but so too had the besiegers. The Hive reigns.
