Then I lose. I'm not lowering my RP quality because someone lowers theirs.

 

That said, I don't "Play-to-Lose." Rather, I "Play-to-Lift," which I've also heard refer to as "Play-to-Help-Others-Win." It's a subtle, but noticeable difference.
