The Eight Decrees of Genuine Existence:

(1.) Ziagonism is the one true way of existence

(2.) Any gods conceived outside of the Zion pantheon are either heresies or misconstrued forms of either one or an amalgamation of multiple of the Truthful 64.

(3.) A follower of Ziagonism must be true of thought, of words, and of action.

(4.) A follower of Ziagonism must participate in his community.

(5.) A follower of Ziagonism must protect their body as their kingdom and their kingdom as their body.

(6.) One who willfully appropriates another’s property shall be shunned by their kinsman.

(7.)To adulterate is to distract oneself from the Eight Decrees of Genuine Existence

(8.) To take the lives of one’s brethren is one of the greatest heresies.

The Dance of Syun and Tunxar:

Syun and Tunxar rejoiced in their newfound existence. Their father dreamt them up a world in which they could exist in any manner that they pleased. They roamed the great fields and swam the widest seas. This was truly their haven.

For ages, they played in the Fields of Eternity.

Syun enchanted Tunxar with her ability to create new life

Dotting the fields with all of the plants and animals of the world.

In due time, Syun and Tunxar brought unto the world children of three.

The first was the god Zeamus, then the goddess Allyria, and then the goddess Terista.

Tunxar found his recently acquired fatherhood to be distasteful and no longer wished to deal with such affairs.

Terista kept running away so Tunxar entombed her in the earth.

Allyria kept screaming so Tunxar cast her in the sky to no longer hear the shouting.

And Zeamus through many fits of rage, attempting to hurt his father.

So Tunxar created the ocean to drown him.

Upon finding out what Tunxar had done she fell to the ground weeping.

The shock of her falling traveled to the tomb of Terista, making her live as the Goddess of the Earth. Her Tears flowed to the ocean, resurrecting Zeamus as the God of the sea. And her wails traveled to the sky, breathing new life into Allyria as the Goddess of the sky.

Syun was reinvigorated by the revival of her children and with their help created a fitting punishment for Tunxar.

They created a portal to the Plane of Damnation and were to trick him into entering.

Syun took her husband to the portal and told him it was a mirror that when gazed upon closely, will tell you your future.

Tunxar fell for the trick to his dismay.

Syun shoved him into the portal then Zeamus, Alllyria, and Terista extinguished and dismantled it so he could no longer return.

Thus ended the Reign of Tunxar in the Fields of Eternity.

Rituals:

Divine Offerings:

A follower of Ziagonism when partaking in a meal would leave a portion. Then they would bring the portion to the fire, burning it as an offering to the Truthful Sixty Four.

Weddings:

For a couple to be bound in holy matrimony, the groom would present the bride to be with a bouquet of flowers and a woven belt made by his kinsmen. The events of the ceremony would differ depending on the patron god or gods of the couple.

The bride would have the flowers gifted to them placed within their hair. And the handwoven belt would be tied into a special knot (the knot of Suma Dara), Then at the end of the wedding, the groom would pluck the flowers from the bride’s hair, throwing them to the crowd before untying the knot.

The true end of the wedding would be when the bride and groom would have a gathering of their closest companions for a meal, giving offerings to the Truthful Sixty Four. At the end of the gathering, the groom would carry their new spouse to their abode and sleep with one another, to be one with Zoramus.

Funerals:

Funerals are turned into an event for a follower of Ziagonism. The body of the deceased would be placed upon an unlit pyre. As the closest companion of the deceased would light the pyre members of the community would speak of the deceased. After the body was burned and all speeches of the deceased were given the mourners would gather together for a feast.

A funeral was not just for mourning the deceased but for celebrating their life. Followers of Ziagonism would rejoice for the deceased, a funeral was a mark of the fates judging the soul. If the follower of Ziagonism were true to the Eight Decrees of Genuine Existence, they would become one with Zoramus.
