"Well met,

Due to the absence of five of the Ascended Sages, there have been numerous attacks on Aegis. Creatures, Minions, Giants all have walked Aegis freely since their leave.

Shortly after the Sages exit, the Orcs of Krugmar were plagued by hundreds of spiders skittering onto their territories. Lightning cracked against the sky and they it seemed to stir their movements even more so. The Orcs stood strong and crushed these creatures. They then ventured deep into their caverns and disposed of the brood.

Malinor then saw bloodshed a few moons later. Hordes of spiders climbed down from the tree's toward the North Gate. Fleshless creatures pulled themselves from the earth and drug their bloody bodies through the forest. Many allies came to the defense of the Elven City and it was protected. Fires then were then seen over the southern end of Old Laurelin. The Evil Queen stood on its treetops laughing menacingly and summoned hundreds of minions. Fleshless beasts, Giants and Ghasts.. some of the most feared creatures in Aegis. Laurelin's tree's become torches under Malin's moon. The Treetops were climbed by Malinor's Elves Allies. The creatures were then driven back into the soil. I was burned badly that fight by the one of the ghasts attacks and needed to be treated for a few nights.

The next attack, as I hear. Was in Alras. It seems the undead are trying their best to demoralize various nations. A large obsidian tower was summoned in the main square of the residential district. Atop was the evil Queen and the Prophet, Vex. Hundreds of fleshless beasts roamed the streets of Alras, breaking into houses and tearing up streets and signs. Lightning and plumes of fire erupted from their stave's. Travelers and combatants came pouring down the Alras road and were greeted by a group of giants and rotten bodies. The beasts threw themselves at the crowd. The giants were toppled and the bodies slain, the combatants pushed toward the residential square. They hacked through lifeless creatures and stood at the base of the obsidian tower as lightning struck the rooftops. Vex grew weak and the Queen sensed it within him. She Struck him down and then grasped his soul. She laughed wickedly and vanished. The obsidian tower crumbled and only piles of diamonds remained.

These attacks have caused much bloodshed, and taken many lives. Aegis has become vulnerable and it is up to us to defend it."

Oren seems to be next. The Undead have wanted Edmund's head for years and they might just get it. Alkhazar's defence isn't good enough to survive attacks like these so it will probably be destroyed, I just hope Edmund can escape Alkhazar during such a battle.

Our enemies are growing stronger and we are defending what little we have...only time will tell if we can remain in this land without being overrun by evil.

Aye, I managed to slay one of the floating white beasts during the siege of Laurelin but another sent me plummeting to the ground from the treetops. I would have perished had a druid not found me.

The seige of Laurelin wasa trrible sight to behold. You could see the fires from Aeriel. Several stray fireballs landed on my home! The damage was not too badb, but next time it couldd be worse.

The one nation that hasn't been attacked recently seems to be the dwarves.
