Oh_Ontario 235 Share Posted June 3, 2021 Lelina Cordius would receive the news of her father's death quite late by a few saints days. She awoken and would tumble down the stairs early in the morning after waking up on the second floor of the tavern within Talon's Port. Lelina would look about to see others looking quite dull unlike how she was due to her still being quite tired. She would look upon one of the tavern tables, noticing the letter that her father, Gail had passed away. She'd wear a crooked smile on her expression despite the hot tears rolling down her cheeks. She'd shout "HOW DARE HE DIE ON ME" Her voice would then lower "W-We never got to properly bond..." She utters out. Lelina would then fall down to the ground in sorrow grabbing the letter off the table, running out of the shaded forest of Talon's Port towards the brighter hills of Veritas. She knew her mother lived there at the time, cutting through the woods for a quicker trip. On Lelina's way to the golden valley, she'd take a short break in the Jade Nation of Yong Ping, still needing to properly process her feelings. Whilst she was there, she'd run into a fire evocationist she recalled seeing in Talon's Port years before. She'd hand the letter off to her, demanding the paper be burnt to ashes.
