Philippa Antoinette viewed the missive which had arrived by a courier, light eyes scanned over the printed letters. The woman's father-in-law, one who she looked up to with his devoted service to the Empire. She trailed off to view her own schedule, marking off the date in a few month's time. "I believe he may be able to rest from his duties for some time." She voiced softly, folding the papers within its creases.

Leon d'Azor looks upon the missive with a soft smile on his face. "Well then, a life of service finally coming to a close, prehaps I can finally see Father relax for once, rather than constantly engaging the floor of politics that his life was filled with. One God, one Empire, one Emperor."

Rosaline Bell d'Azor Would read upon missive with smile, soon fading for a moment  "Will father finally be able to rest ? enjoy the world and explore as he wishes? " She'd seem to ask herself more questions as the day came to an end, wondering will her father have piece of mind after many years. A smile would become present as placed the missive back upon the table as she set off to visit her fathers office once more

Diana d'Azor, the eldest daughter of Sir Ledicort d'Azor, would sigh quietly as she held the missive in her hands. Her tired, emerald-colored eyes closed briefly as she thought of her Father's work. Some words escaping her with a small smile.

"Father, I remember when you were the Vicechancellor.. You worked so desperately hard in making sure that the Empire remained up-float and up-to-date with all the citizens, politics.. your family.. Look now, you were Archchancellor so very long. You worked so hard for the Holy Orenian Empire and I cannot wait to express my gratitude and proudness I see in you Father...you are my inspiration in what I do. You are somehow always right- well, not always. But enough." She'd laugh a little as she thought back to all the memories.. "You've shown what Azor is all about- the work you've put in the Empire is unfathomable... God, Empire, Family."

She would carefully place the missive onto her desk, keeping it safe as a memory-paper if she wished to look back upon such...

The Vice Chancellor nods to his mentor as he finishes writing the announcement before sending it off for replication. He spends a moment reflecting on the revered statesman, a close family friend to the DeNurems, and a role model for much of his own young adulthood. "Time marches ever forward, I look forward to hearing your wisdom."

Johan Vuiller would give a slight dip of his head as he read the announcement over, marking it upon his calendar  "A truly a man who has devoted his life to service of God and Empire, it shall be a grand day to remember for years to come"
