SoulReapingWolf 2258 Share Posted October 12, 2021 [!] Thorin would walk around Hefrumm and approach each one of its houses picking up the letters delivered the day before and leaving a new letter of his own before burning the old ones in his stove. He'd go to the place were any early vote would have been sent to and burn that as well. The letter he had delivered would read. "Brothers and Sisters, folk of the forest The candidates of this election have made a mockery of our traditions and called for an election based on popularity alone. They have not even shown the interest to present to us their candidacies or their ideas for the future of Hefrumm, I invite you all to withdraw your votes until our traditions are respected and until candidates with more wisdom are presented. Candidates that will have our backs like Bjor, Beorn, Yazmorra and Qrue did before. -Thorin Treebeard"
Xergarok 297 Share Posted October 12, 2021 Xergarok Blackroot would wander through the tight undergrowth of a damp forest as he unrolled the paper he had collected. He took his time to read it. "Elections ey? T'ats fast. Dinnae kno' ef they mentioned anefin bou' t'at." he said to himself as his soft shoes pressed down on the grass. "Per'aps t'ey shu' give folks ah bit more toime, bu' huu am ah huh question wot t'ey duh? T'en agaen, dah village does seem duh beh growin' quiet..." the old dwed contemplated.
