The First Elven Conclave of Ephesius

The First Ephesian Conclave

 The High-Seneschal of Ephesius hereby gathers the first Elven conclave of the Vale of Arentine. The purpose of this conclave is both to celebrate the official Phase I construction of Ephesius, acknowledge the contributions of all those who have helped the Elven borough in its development, provide a brief introduction and overview of the Borough, its officials, and its visions for the future of Mali and Valah co-existence.  In addition, the Mali representatives of the Imperial Diet shall take the dais to hear issues and concerns of the Mali community to bring to the Empire. 

 

Those Mali candidates who wish to run in the next diet are highly encouraged to represent themselves here, to be seen before the community of Mali and let it be said that they understand the issues of the Vale of Arentine and the concerns of the Mali citizens to the Empire greater.

If there are community concerns to be voted on or decided within Ephesius, they shall be decided here by vote. To be absent is to be unheard.

It is important to stress that the Ephesian conclave is not only for Elves of Ephesius but across the Empire greater as well, we welcome strong supporters as well as adamant dissenters of our Elven community- for our community has survived through veracity and the tenacity of its cause, united now in community and purpose.

We also welcome with honorable recognition those Mali of neutral or friendly disposition towards the Imperial Elves who wish to weigh their wisdom upon us, to warn and to teach, and to inform us of the Elven realms and princedoms beyond our borders and the news of the day.

a. Naming of Gwaithors
3. Ephesius Overview (5 minutes)

4. Disc. of the Borough Budget (10 minutes, and a vote)
5. Public discourse with Mali Diet Representatives (20 minutes)

6. Announcing of any new Mali Candidacies (10 minutes)

7. Outstanding issues to vote (10 minutes)

"Good work brother, good work. Though we both know I was never one for your meetings. " 

The Holy Knight allows a slight chuckle through before rising from his seat in ravenmour 

"Do tell Chadwick to stop putting sugar in my tea. I know he's only trying to help but it makes me physically sick. I just don't have the heart to tell him... " 

With that, the judge leaves the room to finish of his day's paperwork, dipping his head to minuvas as he leaves

[!] Would pause he see's his brother, attempting to grab his brother by the Arm and pull him in close, and if he would allow the grasp, he would say something to him in a low whisper. @bufffsanta

"What you lack in oratory skill, Hieran, you make up for with a blade.....I will need your support elsewhere for this occasion,...." He would go on to explain something mostly inaudible to anyone other than Hieran. "....and that will hopefully be the last of that...."

   Somewhere in the far lands of Almaris a lonely malii'ker rode his horse.

It was already pitch black thus a lantern was attached to the saddle, barely lighting up the rode in front of him.

Agis found a nice play to stop in. He took off the horse's saddle and attached it's lead to a tree. There was no time to settle a proper camp so all he did was gather a few dry sticks from the saddlebags and start preparing a campfire.

   When the fireplace was burning warmly, a nice shade of red and orange was lightning up the young elf's face.

He took out a letter, a simple piece of parchment he had received a few days before, he was on his travels thus didn't have much time, but now, when he stopped, there was a lot of time.

He began reading what seemed to be an invitation with a slight frown of focus on his face.

   In the morning, when he woke up he cleaned up the camp and left on his horse.

The road would lead him to Oren, the vale of of Arentine to be exact.

Apon his brothers sudden movements, The sergeants smile would dim, his face returning to its default snarling construct

"Aye, Minuvas. It will be done" 

He rests his darkened hand apon his glowing blade as he nods once more, this time in a fashion of business.
