With the establishment of the College of Saint Humbert as the forefront of expanding education into the day to day social establishment of San Luciano; the college will be hosting a Starlight Ball as a fundraiser to construct an observatory. The Starlight Ball will be held under the night sky during a meteor shower of the First Seed of 1849 within the hippodrome of San Luciano. All proceeds and funds will go towards the College and it’s new astronomical society.

    The Starlight Ball will feature a variety of activities and times of revelry. This includes a raffle for the first telescope created by the astronomy society within the College of Saint Humbert, telescopes to witness the constellations and stars in all their glory as created by GOD, a dance under the moonlight, merchant stalls of scholarly items and sustenance, various faire games, and more. There will also be a prize of thirty minae awarded to the best dressed. Those that attend are asked to wear their finest silks within the theme of the night sky. 

 

All are invited to attend the ball so long as they remain in the good graces of Savoy.

A young scholar with cerulean eyes distorted by the grey tincture of his glasses hunches over the missive. His golden hair crescents his face as he mutters in response to its reading. "The college, I hope, shall prove a center of learning. Much potential lies within its walls, as does with the study of such celestial bodies," spoke Severinus in a raspy tone, a smile now present upon his pale visage.

A youthful son of Sola would wake from his slumber upon the sound of the nanny knocking on his door.  Thereafter, a single slip of parchment found its way underneath the frame.  He tiredly rubbed at his eyes and yawned as he gathered himself to go retrieve the invitation.  The boy stared with a certain iridescence in betwixt his gaze and a nuanced offset of their hue.  One blue and the other green.  Batting to and fro they did before he rucked the parchment within his adolescent grasp and lit it aflame with the nearby candle.
