Following the victory that did occur for the Kingdom of Oren, Thomas Komnenos and Amandine Escoffier-Elverhilin reunited after their time and bravery served in such battle. In that moment, the two lovers acknowledged the lack of promise that life contains - at any passing moment could the preciousness of life  be taken away. Then was their refusal to waste another moment born.  Their decision was made, they were to be wed on the Saint’s Day that followed the war; A love that was born in triumph.

An intimate ceremony did in fact take place that following Saint’s Day.  In the Lubba Garden Chapel beside the Barony of  Trabezon on the 8th of the Amber Cold in the 72nd year of the Second Age close friends and family gathered  to be in attendance to witness the exchanging of vows between Thomas and Amandine.

As the ceremony began, the guests rose upon Amandine’s entrance. As Amandine was given away by her mother, Thessalia, a flurry of emotions did arise within her.  As she took her first steps down the decorative aisle, that bride’s smile refused to leave her countenance thereafter.

Thomas stood at the end of that aisle as he awaited his wife to be. Despite the nervousness that consumed him and displayed in the fidgeting of his hands, no larger grin could’ve been placed on his features as Amandine finally came to stand before him.

“With this ring, I thee wed and bestow my abiding love, faith, and honor unto you from this day forward” The bride and groom did both exchange in the presence of the ordained and their loved ones.  Then their unity and love was sealed by a kiss.

Those in attendance cheered and basked in the joy of the newly joined Lord and Lady Komnenos.

Thereafter was the news spread to the public - A new union was made.
