ISSUED AND CONFIRMED BY

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY KING FREDERICK I

yczGqynsHEz9d_3tewDY8HHeXFgxUu_M0sDq68cvfg_0RXzE3jnzOoFcmUwwgCkgYJsFZ24OJkmpvcOdYWNW1LVZSG5DrZH0UobcQLgRRrmd_TgHSOZYEejbTeD5qMSiGp4AKYfI7YqATU2gtmsd7w

The Crown has become aware of the dangers that lurk within our forests, in the grey depths of our seas, and inside the hearts of the descendants. This dark corruption saunters the land, seeking to taint our provisions of wheat and game, spreading malaise like the rot, and leading the beasts of Dobrov across acres of forests to the borders of our capital, where they’ve defiled the holy wood in blood. Our horror is only quenched by the knowledge of the masters of the Arcane, entities of knowledge who divulge the truths of the dark for our security.

In his Epistle to the Magi, Exalted Owyn received God’s word:

“But GOD’s is the eternal power, the mysterious power with no part nor piece, no lowly anatomy. For who can imitate the most Unknowable.” (Auspice 7:6-7)

The Owynist Rite follows the canticle of the Epistle absolutely, admonishing all those magi that attempt to mimic God’s glory. In spite of the King’s zealous fervour, the augmentation of the presence of dark creatures folds the hand of the Privy. Hence, our borders have agreed to the toleration of this practice so long as they are sworn to give caution and information regarding threats that lurk within, such as the WENDIGO of the woods.

However, the Void, as we know it, is often prone to corruption – for all is witness to the taint that had surrounded the lands of my father, the elves, and the dwarves.

To regulate the authority of magic and serve the King’s ear in all related judgements, the Privy has chosen to install Anordal Elverhillin into the Privy Council as Lord Magnus, a title he has held in its imperial iteration, and a title he shall hold once more. His responsibilities are enumerated:

To regulate and uphold legal magic licenses in the realm.

To give the King advice on matters related to the supernatural.

To innovate the safe practices of magic to be used in medicine, battle, etc., within his lands of the Pale.

IN NOMINE DEI,

HIS MAJESTY, Frederick I, King of Oren, forever August, King of Renatus, Curon, Kaedrin, Salvus, and Seventis, Grand Duke of Ves, Duke of Vienne, Helena, Novellen, Furnestock, Petra, Oltremont, South Arentania, and Lorraine, Count of Mardon, Baron of Renzfeld, Protector of the Heartlanders and Farfolk, etcetera

HIS EXCELLENCY, Conrad de Falstaff, Lord Chancellor of the Kingdom of Oren, Baron of Guise

A certain magi frowns. Provide information on the wendigo? And how the hell would we know shit about that?
