87 SA, The removal of Darimath Loa'Chil ordered as such by the Primarch Netseth Loa’Chil. With granted permissions, a succession had been in order, as such is the coming of the 3rd Onyx Chief of the Silan’siol and 4th appointed Lord Warmaster, Relnol Loa’Chil. After many discussions with the Primarch Netseth Loa’Chil, High Priestess Qudlia Jusmia, Halerir and newly Onyx Chief  Relnol Loa’Chil, a climax is upon the horizon 93 SA. Relnol Loa’Chil has ushered in the first reformation of the Silan’siol, Guards of Nor’Asath into place.

Initially the Silan’siol was known as the Vindicators of Uradas, led by the first Lord Warmaster, Sevrel Valin'dar. Whom had once  been appointed by the Archon of Stygian Hollow, Zirath R’ikarth. During our times beneath the dwarves of Urguan, we underwent many hardships although our Lord Warmaster and Archon had been able to carry us through such times. Fighting in wars such as the War of Wigs which had been battled against the profound Empire of Orenia.

Upon disembark from Urguani lands which had us settled into the frozen terrain of the Northern Regions, becoming the Dual Principalities with Fenn and Nor’Asath hand in hand. Succeeding Lord Warmaster Sevrel Valin’dar would be Onyx Chief  Lavi Igne’sae also appointed by Prince Zirath R’ikarth. This newly named Onyx Chief was the one to reform the Vindictators of Uradas into the Silan’siol as it is known today.

Silan’siol Command Structure

The ranks of the guard of Nor’asath 

 

Onyx Chief

The highest ranked position within the Silan’siol, bestowed upon an individual by the Primarch themself. Overseeing all acts committed by mal’onn and lari’onn of the Silan’siol. The Oynx Chief holds the authority to make immediate decisions amidst times of crisis, appointing warriors to stand against all that threatens the city. 

 

Vindictator

Soldiers that have proven their combat prowess and leadership during tenures in the Nightblades rise to the ranks of the Vindictators , who serve as general officers responsible for hosting training, espionage, and commanding their mal’onn and lari’onn in and out of battle.

 

Nightblade

The bulk of the rank and file, the Nightblade is one who has completed their Oath to the Primarch and Silan’siol. They take up arms in defense of the Mali’ker people, and go out to do battle with our enemies. They report to the Onyx Chief and his Vindictator subordinates. The fighting force of Nor'Asath, seen as experienced members of the Silan’siol.

 

Sableguard

These newly made soldiers that have yet passed their basic training and graduate beyond the ranks of the Neophytes are called Sableguards. They are of age to become soldiers and undergo an oath towards the Onyx Chief, Silan’siol, and Primarch.

 

Neophyte

Young ‘ker, yet to lift a blade but eager to raise arms and join the Silan’siol so they may fight for the well being of our Primarch and Nor’Asath.

Sableguard Oath

 

The Sableguards Oath to wield a sword and beckon the call of the Onyx Chief. A vow to sacrifice your honor and pride. For those that sought out justice for wrong-doings or to protect and defend your loved ones as you aid the city if it so happens to be in trouble.

Silan’siol Specialized Groupings and Pay

 

Specialized ranks and positions led by the Vindictator who’re to be overseen by Onyx Chief. Nightblades are also to lead Companies beneath the Cohorts which the Vindictators are to manage and oversee.

 

Infantry Cohort

 

The infantry cohort is the bulk of the Silan’siol, making up the fighters and those tasked to battle in the occurrence of an enemy or foe. Those who’ve gone through and met the requirements of the Sableguard oath will be placed underneath the trusting Vindictatorwho will lead the cohort. The command staff of the cohort is to consist of a single Vindictator and three trusting Nightblades. Each Nightblade may be permitted to lead and control a company.

 

Payment among ranks

 

Each soldier is to receive pay yearly (every elven year). If the Onyx Chief and Officers fail to comply with such then the soldier in question has the right to request double the next year. Soldiers are only to receive their payment if attending the yearly Silan’siol Address.
