*You hear shouts and cheers as the conquering heroes return home from the battle at Wrath's Clutch, "WE HAVE WON, VICTORY IS OURS!" they shout. A man stands amongst the returning soldiers and warriors handing out diamond swords in reward. He then stands and announces this in a booming voice.*

People of Oren!

Today is a great victory indeed. Take these men as examples of the kind of people we need in our kingdom. Soldiers and warriors that do not fight because they were simply ordered but for the good and light that wards away the darkness!

*You then go to Dawn's Bakery and hear a wizard and a squire recount the details of the battle.*

The main forces of Aegis were all there, humans, elves, dwarves and orcs. Even the guilds came to give their swords and bows to our cause. We attacked in full force at sunrise, shooting arrows at those firing at us at the top of the keep. I myself saw two men down below shooting through the holes in their wall. I sprinted to the wall of the keep itself and laid in wait for the two men to get close enough to my sword. I saw an arrow fly past and stuck my sword through the hole. Impaling the man and slaying him with his bow still in hand. The other man was more cautious but I outwitted him as well.

Nightfall came....

This was when the necromancers were at their most powerful. They unleashed their magic with no mercy. Many perished that night....

Then at daybreak we could see trees spontaneously grow throughout the battlefield. A druid then shouted "Prepare yourselves worshippers of Iblees! Prepare yourself for what is the full power of nature!"

The druid summoned trees for us to climb upon where we then overcame the walls of the keep. This was what was indeed the turning point of the battle. those who could not climb laid in wait for the others to open the gate. I was one of them. A man with iron armor and a diamond sword jumped from the wall in panic as he saw the elves jump from tree to tree until they were on the walls. He charged me and slashed my arm. I had the heat of battle warming me though and with a power I knew not that I possessed vanquished him in a few strong blows.

The keep had been taken and we returned home. Now I tell you this story now, and now it is finished

*The wizard then talks of the future plans for the keep.*

"We shall place the banners of all the nations of Aegis upon what used to be known as Wrath's Clutch. We shall also build a memorial for all those who have fallen."

*He bids farewell and leaves the tavern. The squire says goodbye and talks about having to get another chest for all his spoils.*

((not my best writing but if you liked it +1's are appreciated. :P))
