The Azulite: Event Creature/Event Line

{I said I was gonna do it. I did it}
{Yes I am aware I am bad at formatting :P}

Spoiler

There was a time, in which no gods were held as our masters. They sink their grubby, grotesque fingers into us. They make us fight, they make us serve.

If it was not for us Mortals. What would they have? Nothing, they would be left without meaning. Which begs the question. Are they the gods, or, are we the gods?”  Primarch Azul, addressing his followers in Magara’lin

The Azulite, a modern-day wives' tale. Wayward Ker of the dark path. Ker cast from society often claim the mantle. Knowing, nothing of what they claim.

The true Azulite has been waiting for eons to prepare. Silence met only with desire. Bring back Primarch Azul, and destroy the gods of the mortal races.

In the depths of ancient Axios, they have waited. They have prepared. Hiding from the Remnant of Magara’lin. Their scouts have placed themselves close, ready to strike. A plan is set in motion.

Tormented Azul

The Dread Primarch

yv8EpP7wC6MhSQ-fQQZa3XmjbCYzuzl8mZoH0VV1qlT-GjQniohx1Bt0XXgyoZeRqFL1s5-a2oLfdhQ4yHCS3KzBoa8VTQ4oQMA9nBwWgrqUqRe-vAaCRtNh9BdMLamzvT9-c8fqjGPSL3KmiARhSeswN3RJ9U6EPtgLfIzOLWV9FayDLgNsGQ0b13eAZw

Azuls soul resides within the Bûrgulumokh. A prison created by ancient Maehr shamans to punish Azul for his crimes. A pocket carved out of Stargush by Kor, and sealed by the ancestral spirits of the Maehrs wrath.

For eons, he has waited and prepared. Whispering in the dreams of his followers. Who enslaved shamanic mortals with their vile art of Biomancy.

A gate was made, communion was gifted.
As Dak’ir Des'nox spoke to Velulaei.

Another champion spoke to Azul. Haeil.

Azul gifted them knowledge and creatures of the Bûrgulumokh, to torment and experiment. Flesh and bone bound by hate became the anchor to empower the Azulite. Grafting these creatures to act as new organs. New limbs, new sight.

They are the last salvation, in their eyes. Azul, heralds change. An age where mortals do not bind themselves to the service of gods that care only for power. An age of freedom and grace.

: The Great Plan:

It is simple, truly. A full body's worth of blood from every mortal species. The bone of the grandfather, taken from his ancient throne. Malin, father of the elves. His ancient crown, taken for Azul.

The right hand of the father, who could not save his wife or son. Uradus, founder of the Vindicators.

The left hand of the mother, who so foolishly enslaved the Maehr. Velulaei, herald of Luara, first Ker shaman.

A living Ker, to steal the divinity granted of Luara.

Taken to the ruins of Magara’lin.

Brought together in a metallic cauldron, before the mummy Azul when the stars align to return him screaming to his mortal form. The ker, will be bled dry, and their shamanic slaves will pass over the touch of Luara. The blood of mortals, the bone of those that came before. The Grandson of Malin, Primarch Azul will return. With the full might of his mind, sanity stolen by Luara ages past, regiven to him.

To wage a crusade against the very gods that pitted mortal races against each other. He will be the eater of gods. All that follows will be their denouncement. For eons they have prepared. In silence, they will strike before any are wiser.

: The Azulite:

Passive Abilities:

: Azukmae:

Spoiler

Between the ages of five and ten, the Azulite is grafted with custom-made organs found along their spine. Smooth, glowing orange orbs make small amounts of light visible on their bare skin. Called the Azukmae.  These objects, begin to vibrate and rattle whenever they are within twelve blocks of any creature possessing diety magic. Or magic that is connected to a god in any form.

{This would work against any magic user or CA with any connection to a Greater Being regardless of origin. E.I Seers, Shamans, Druids, Azdrazi, Paladins, Templars, Frost Witches, Nazarak, Inferi, etc. It would not work against voidal mages.}

: The Kaur:

Spoiler

The Kaur is an organ that rests alongside the stomach, made from obsidian paste, they can store excess mana passively, or actively through other abilities.

: Biomancy:

Spoiler

Mana and blood. In the days of yore, this art form was seen as the doctor's helper. During the Azulian Heresy, its art was turned to give Azul and his Azulite powers beyond the typical mortals.

In the modern age, beasts from beyond the veil are entrapped, dissected, and grafted onto the body of an Azulite. This grants each different abilities based on what is grafted.

: The Haemak:

Spoiler

This creature is carried around by Azulites. One half, have already grafted into their brain, beneath the bone, and over the left lobe. Should they find a suitable target they wish to force into servitude, they operate the same and place the second half of the Haemak on their target's right lobe. Giving them control over emotions, and sub-planting thoughts.

The Haemak is a psionic creature created by Haeil to control targets worthy. Those targeted by the Haemak are typically subjected to extreme grafts from the Azulite

Active Abilities

:Velqu:

Spoiler

Once every ten emote rounds, the Azulite is able to use an organ created for this purpose, which is grafted into the forearm, to ‘Counter-spell’ any deity magic user abilities. Swallowing it up and converting it to mana for their own use.  This effect can be done within fifteen blocks of the Azulite

{This would work against any magic user or CA with any connection to a Greater Being regardless of origin. E.I Seer, Shamans, Druids, Azdrazi, Paladins, Templars, Frost Witches, Nazarak, Inferi, etc. It would not work against voidal magic.}

:Urmakia:

Spoiler

Between the ages of fourteen to eighteen, the back of the Azulites throat is cut open, and an eldritch spider-like beast is stuffed within, its legs are visible under the skin. Fangs are set firmly on the top of the spine and lodged into the bone. When flesh attuned to any deity passes in the throat. The creature steals latent mana in the body and uses it to bolster the Azulite.

Should the Azulite manage to sink their maw into the flesh of any magic user with ties connect to a deity, consume the flesh and blood taken, or drink at least three cups worth of the blood from such a creature.

They gain a state of empowerment. Their reflexes bolster that of the Siliti. Raising their strength to a full-grown Uruk. This effect lasts for five emotes before fading.

 {This would work against any magic user or CA with any connection to a Greater Being regardless of origin. E.I Seer, Shamans, Druids, Azdrazi, Paladins, Templars, Frost Witches, Nazarak, Inferi, etc. It would not work against voidal magic.}

: Azulian Bloodbending:

Spoiler

Azulites by default are registered as T5 Blood Mages, and in addition can perform special abilities not seen of this age.

Such as in the effects of crystalizing blood from a fresh wound for painful effects on targets {E.I Blood crystals sprout from around the target wound.}

Making blood crystal armor, which would be extremely light but bear the protection of Ferrum plating.

Making blood crystal weapons from their own wounds, or jutting spikes from their wound that have the quality of Ferrum weaponry.

Using blood as a whip, turning it caustic to the touch, superheating it to ignite it on fire.

{This effect should be used as a story tool and to give ST general creative freedom when using this. For general fun and storytelling, ST should do their best to adhere to Blood Magic Redlines as best they can for a positive narrative for the Azulite. Get creative :P}

:Necrotic Azulian Arts:

Spoiler

Azulites may opt to be a T5 Necromancer in addition to enhanced necrotic abilities at the privy of the ET within reason of necromancy lore.

Be it mass resurrections. To targeting multiple foes with necrotic life-drain.

Or dominating undead that is not adherent/created, or summoned by them.

{This effect should be used as a story tool and to give ST general creative freedom when using this. For general fun and storytelling, ST should do their best to adhere to Necromancy Redlines as best they can for a positive narrative for the Azulite. Get creative :P}

: Azulian Singers:

Spoiler

Azulites can be T5 Bardmancers of any respective school.

The effects of the Singers differ from Singer to Singer.

In general, these singers bolster other Azulites' abilities and confidence. In turn, spreading delirium and confusion to their foes, demoralizing them.  disrupting casting, inflicting maddening paranoia, and outright causing those that hear the putrid song of Azul to flee in terror.

{These effects are decided by the ET in question to help drive a thrilling narrative. Instead of, story telling, these horrific bards invoke terrifying effects and images in their casting to unsettle and drive foes to madness whilst bolstering their allies.}

Biomancy Grafts:

The following is privy to the ET in question but serves as a general idea page for them to pick and choose grafts when making an Azulian Event Persona.

: Wings of the Beast:

Spoiler

These wings come in variations. Taken from creatures large enough for them, such as Harpies, and Winged Screamers, are not uncommon.

The most common is The Skelt. For the wings are able to be folded up neatly, hidden, and allow the Azulite extreme mobility in the air.

: Eyes of the Beast:

Spoiler

Azulites are able to graft the eyes of the fauna of their choice.

: Limbs of the Beast:

Spoiler

Azulites are able to graft the limbs of fauna onto themselves for extra effect, in addition to simply grafting arms onto themselves.

From a mortal's arm to the Thorqal, to the limbs of a Lurker, or the tail of a Chimera. If their frame can support it, they can graft it.

: Eldritch Organs:

Spoiler

Gifts from Azul in the Bûrgulumokh, passed through gates created with the shamanic slaves and blood mages. These effects can grant the Azulite new arts not seen of this age.

Such as a creature grafted to the arm that draws Mana from an Azulites Kaur to form a shield for them. Or manifest the mana in a telekinetic fashion.

The more willing the Azulite is to mutilate their form, the more extreme these effects could be.

{These effects are for the ET to experiment and explore with, akin to MARts for players, to give an eldritch narrative to certain Azulite Event Personas}

: Living Armorment:

Spoiler

From making living armor that actively protects the wearer to a snake that can withstand blows from Ferrum whilst spitting toxins. To design creatures that projectile vomit spikes or toxic gasses at foes. To bugs that when thrown travel to a target and with razor-sharp mandibles start to burrow into the flesh

The Azulite finds, manipulates, and it creates horrific weapons from the living. Be it to themselves, or whatever poor soul they decide to enforce it on

Haeil. Champion of The Dread Primarch, Voice of Azul.

Spoiler

Haeil is a cruel Mali’ker of six hundred years. Though as fit as he was when he was fifty. With a heavy diet of the gray matter of mortals, hearts, and livers. He maintains perfect health.

Cunning, deceiving, and perspective, Haeil when he so desires appears as a perfectly normal Mali’ker, eager to learn and explore.

Beneath the clever guise. Haeil is hateful, towards any that would give power to a god regardless if they invoke them in this mortal realm, or worship them. Inferi, Dark Shamans, outcasted Druids, Frost Witches, Seers, Cruel Paladins, Azdrazi lacking honor. None could ever call Haeil a friend, for he seeks the very end of their existence.

Those unwilling to bend the knee and forsake their path for Haeil rarely survive an encounter with the Voice of Azul. Those whose goals align with Haeils are welcome as a family-member in his concord of divine hatred.

In his favored garbs, Haeil has custom-made the clothing and armor to function perfectly with all grafts done to him.

: Abilities:

: Azulian Grace:

Spoiler

Haeil has a natural block movement of 12 , able to attack, cast, and perform complex actions. When sprinting, his movement doubles.

: Perfected Azukmae:

Spoiler

The Azukmae of Haeil works within a 30 block range of himself.

{This would work against any magic user or CA with any connection to a Greater Being regardless of origin. E.I Seer, Shamans, Druids, Azdrazi, Paladins, Templars, Frost Witches, Nazarak, Inferi, etc. It would not work against voidal magic.}

: Perfected Velqu:

Spoiler

Haeil may counter-spell two effects from any magic connected to a deity every eight emotes and store them in his Kaur. This effect has a range of 25 blocks around Haeil

{This would work against any magic user or CA with any connection to a Greater Being regardless of origin. E.I Seer, Shamans, Druids, Azdrazi, Paladins, Templars, Frost Witches, Nazarak, Inferi, etc. It would not work against voidal magic.}

: Perfected Kaur:

Spoiler

The Kaur of Haeil is far more effective at storing mana taken from spells and will convert genus taken from Urmakia into further mana.

: Perfected Urmakia:

Spoiler

The effects of the Urmakia gives Haeil the strength of an Olog for 10 emotes and bolster his reflexes to that of ancient Mali. Allowing him to move with speed and agility never seen in this age.

{This would work against any magic user or CA with any connection to a Greater Being regardless of origin. E.I Seer, Shamans, Druids, Azdrazi, Paladins, Templars, Frost Witches, Nazarak, Inferi, etc. It would not work against voidal magic.}

: Perfected Biomancy:

Spoiler

The grafts of Haeil are subtle and perfect. Able to be fully hidden, typically without the use of makeup, though some require him to adorn cosmetics to hide them.

: The Jar of Souls:

Spoiler

With him, from the ancient gates of ruins beneath Magara’lin. Haeil carries a jar at all times. Within are the poor fools that walked the gates of Azul in the mortals' time on Axios. Countless call this jar their prison now. Those able to sense specters would hear a constant miasma of screaming from the Jar.

There are 16 souls in the jar at any given time. Over the course of two emotes. Haeil is able to drink from the jar and consume a soul permanently. For the narrative day, encounter, or combat. For each soul consumed, Haeil adds 4 blocks to his natural movement and increases the speed of any action performed by him.

For each soul Haeil drinks he must replace it. Abuse of the Jar without replacing souls will result in his thirst being unable to be sated. Haeil must bind a target and sacrifice their form in a runic circle of blood akin to complex Blood Magic rituals.

{This is a throwback to an event on Axios where players who found the gates could access the command /Azul. When done, these players would never be able to MCly or Rply eat food anymore. They would have to kill animals, and other players and eat their souls to regain MC and RP hunger. For each soul they ate, they got stronger.}

: Vocals of the Hyfowl:

Spoiler

Haeils vocal cords are replaced with several Hyfowls vocal cords. Allowing him to release sonic screeches that can knock those susceptible out, off their feet, and shatter glass in a 10 block radius around him.

: Muscles of the Thorqal:

Spoiler

Haeils muscles have been replaced with a Thorqals, giving him the natural strength of a full-grown Uruk.

: Lurker Limbs:

Spoiler

These limbs slid partly into the body at the armpit and above the hip. They wrap around his torso. When extended out, they reach three feet and can deliver powerful blows akin to an Uruks fist. Haeil uses these limbs to allow him to crawl and cling to walls, ceilings, and the like. They number four in total.

: Skelt Wings:

Spoiler

These wings are typically hidden, and are able to fold up into sections to hide beneath flaps of skin upon Haeils back. When protruding out, Haeil has the ability to fly, hover, and change direction in the air on his whim. These wings give him a block speed of up to  20 when performing actions. Doubled if Haeil focuses purely on flight.

: Eyes of the Crowdrake:

Spoiler

Haeil possesses a second set of eyes beneath his natural ones. These do not have typical eyelids and can be fully hidden when closed and simple cosmetics are applied. When opened, the eyesight of Haeil is perfected and he is able to see for miles, akin to the Crowdrake spotting prey from the air in a dense forest.

: Deepsnake Toxin:

Spoiler

The canines of Haeil have been connected to sacks of toxic grafted from a Deepsnake. His bite will apply the effects of Deepsnake toxin on victims if they are susceptible to such.

: Azuls Blade:

Spoiler

Haeil possesses the ancient blade of Azul. This blade, masterfully forged from ancient knowledge bears the effects of Lunarite, Thanium, And Azhl. It measures four feet in length.  In the hands of Haeil, this ancient blade is a terror to behold.

:OOC NOTES:

The purpose of this is to give ET a slight guide to Roleplaying an Azulite, as a few ST have said that they would RP an Azulite antagonist. These effects should give guidance for an interesting Event Persona and make an ST played Azulite a lot more than a typical ‘Luara bad’ Dark Elf.

As with everything, ET is more than welcome to change effects, and get creative with their Azulite Event Character!

Haeil is made as an example of what a High Ranking Azulite may appear, and function as. I deeply encourage ET that are interested to design and craft their own Azulite! From basic grunts to ranking Officers in Haeils cabal.

The inspiration for the Azulite came as a bit of a love letter to the Yuuzhan Vong of The Star Wars EU.

I welcome feedback, and changes to this idea!

Spoiler

{Personal head cannon of Funky. Xionism, which was in roleplay, started by a dark elf, was actually made and spread as a prior preparation for Azulites to make their way into the realm and find natural allies. To lay the groundwork for the return of Azul.}

This lore has been denied.

Best to leave factions to individual ET to utilize, I could not find history of these being played on this map outside of some in-character mentions. Will heave to ET to play and utilize on their own factions.
