ATILAN BISHOP

Issued By

THE LADY JUSTICIAR

ADELE LUDOVAR

On the 11th of Tov ag Yermey, 462 E.S.

VA BIRODEO HERZENAV AG EDLERVIK,

In response to the vote of no-confidence passed by the Royal Duma towards Jovenaar Atilan Bishop, procedure dictates that the High Justiciar and Lord Palatine meet with one another to revious the accusations made thus far and decide how best to proceed in the matter from that point forwards.

The decision was very obvious to both Lady Justiciar Adele Ludovar and Lord Palatine Iosif Basrid that, with the distrust of the citizens of Hanseti-Ruska towards the nominated Jovenaar, he could no longer continue rightfully in his role as an appointed Jovenaar of the nation. Thus, Jovenaar Atilan Bishop is hereby removed from the office of Jovenaar and henceforth denied the right as a Royal Detective to represent the Crown as a Prosecutor in the Aulic Court.

However it was similarly agreed that, to avoid corrupting the Judicial Office in the future, no Jovenaar’s decisions shall be reversible without an official Appeal from either the defending, prosecuting, or injured parties upon which the trial shall be repeated under a different Jovenaar’s judgement. Therefore, Jovenaar Atilan’s ruling and verdict over the Trial of Alejandro Sands and Florian Sands shall stand.

IT IS SO ORDERED.

MONN TAMORT OE SPARVEED,

Her Excellency, Adele Emma Ludovar, Lady Justiciar of Hanseti-Ruska,

Kastellan of Domestic Trade, Kastellan of Labour

His Excellency, Iosif Basrid, Lord Palatine of Hanseti-Ruska,

Bishop of Valwyck

"This is a matter for the King to decide upon and the King to decide alone." Stated Analiesa with some dissapointment.

Kor'garr's brow raises at the announcement the Prosecutor he was researching has essentially been booted from his position unanimously... at least until he sets the paper down with a rumbling chuckle through his thick handlebar mustache.

"Wehl, dat'z zertinli'ag vinizher vor dah artikul. Hozh timyng vor Kor'garr tu reed diz az wehl." The grey orc takes another sip of cactus wine as he pages through the substantial pile of human legal documents before him, small droplets of crimson berry alcohol trickling down heavy set tusks and onto the floor below his writing desk.

Spoiler

Translation:
"Well, that's certainly a finisher for the article. Good timing for me to read this as well."

"Then surely this would be the precedent for future trials, not ones already held and voted upon in the royal Duma. I'm not entirely sure you can overrule the duma if it decided to do a retrial. This is exactly the same as trying somebody on crimes they comitted before the laws concerning them were written - it does not happen. This is also rather odd considering author of this document also acted as prosecutor, clearly a conflict of interest." said Arold.
